They priced an 18' alumacraft boat for me. Gave me their "best price". The three other dealerships I priced the same boat at (without them knowing J & J's price) beat them by more than $1,500. Took my boat there for service (oil change) and told them I needed the boat back in 5 days. Was told it was no problem. When I came to pick up 5 days later, they hadn't touched it. Took the boat to a different dealership that got to it right away and charged 35% less than J & J. Alumacraft should shut them down. I have three friends local to them that have had similarly poor experience. Stay away!

First they fail to repair our boat 3 times. Every time they said it’s ready to go.
Then...no good once at lake. Either u fixed it or u didn’t. Then they are scheduled to pick it up and winterize. Fail to pick it up in a 2 week window. I call to ask why it’s in water still. We r there to take out the dock. Say, didn’t get to it. Sometime next week. Then Jim hangs up on me because I ask them to get it by Monday. Jim says sometime next week. I ask could you get to it Monday since the window is as missed. Jim says, YOU ARE OFF the list! And hangs up. What? Did that just happen? How did that

Great store, service, products and pricing for winterization. The service perform on my boat was always top notch. They pull all the maintenance on my motor, trailer bearings, treat my gas is necessary.. come spring the motor pops off immediately. Great prices on their equipment, and new boats.. I couldn't be any more please if you're searching for someone that would handle your boat with kid gloves give them a try...you'll be glad you did!

JJ Marine delivered the the boat out of storage. Before delivering they filled the gas tank and over filled it. The extra gas was now in the hull. They drove up our driveway which is uphill and parked. All the gas in the hull drained onto the driveway through the drain hole causing it to literally disintegrate the asphalt on the one side. They tried to help with the clean up but the damage had already been done. I have contacted them twice since then but they have not responded. This driveway is less than a year old. Very disappointed.

I usually winterize my outboards myself but thought this year I would have it done. I looked around the area and spoke with and emailed several dealers. One didn't even answer the phone or return my call (I left a voice mail in the service dept) and only one responded to email and another Dealer's service department had to "walk out front" to see what price was posted. So when I gave J&J a call they immediately gave me a pretty accurate quote and said to bring the pontoon by anytime. I brought it the same afternoon just before they closed and they said it would be done in 3-4 days. So I was surprised

Words cannot explain how wonderful it is to do business with J & J Marine. I have been servicing my boat with them for years and every visit is better than the last. Everyone at J & J from the management, the counter guys to the techs are fantastic to deal with. They are knowledgeable, efficient and honest. They always have my best interests in mind when servicing my boat. They have always met or exceeded the finish time for repairs and the repairs are always done correctly. I am always confident that my boat will perform well after J & J services my boat. Again can't say enough about the guys

Buyer Beware!!!!
We ordered/purchase a "new" Porta-Dock in August of 2013. We installed it this spring at which time the welds broke. After contacting J&J Marine in South Haven, MN 6 (six), yes 6 times without receiving any response (Starting May 8,2014). We then contacted Port-Dock direct (May-19 ,2014), they agreed that it should be covered under warranty. They also stated we had to work with the "J&J". So far it has been (7) weeks and NO action has been taken.
We will keep you updated.
