Natural Ovens Bakery was founded in 1976 by Paul A. Stitt, who was disgruntled by the lack of quality whole grain bread available to his health food store. Without operating capital but with a good helping of determination and zeal, he purchased a local bakery and developed his own brand.

Paul became a nutrition leader and dedicated his life to creating a brand rich in essential vitamins and minerals, which he saw as vital to the human body, but without chemical additives or preservatives.Local customers could count on Natural Ovens to be years ahead of nutrition trends.

Yes, there are many Keto variations on a burger, but if you're craving the classic at your next barbeque give these a try. We cooked the mushrooms in butter for extra richness. A traditional Chicago dog can weigh in at 37 net carbs, but with a Keto-Friendly bun and some ingenuity, we've created a dog that definitely belongs in Chicagoland while managing.

Worked for both Natural Ovens and Alpha Baking. Alpha the worst. Poor hours and pay! Top and middle management is bad. There is no loyalty to the employees, you are nothing more than a number. Your needs and concerns are of no concern. In today’s world there are much better places to work, that care about their employees and treat them them better and with respect. You won’t get that at Alpha!!

I recently learned that Alpha Baking Company, Inc., the Chicago-based company which purchased Natural Ovens several years ago, has made the decision to discontinue all Natural Ovens products (except their Keto line). It is sad to see the vision of Paul and Barbara Stitt, the founders of Natural Ovens, end. Years ago, I had the opportunity to speak with each of them, and they truly hoped that offering high-quality baked products--that were also tasty--would help individuals make better food choices. It will be difficult, if not impossible, to find a replacement bread. Despite my disappointment,

I don't think I've ever tried their products that's why I'm only giving them four stars. But as far as their facility is concerned, when I deliver flour there they have some very nice people. Easy place to get in and out of quickly and efficiently.

Just a watch out for the buyers of Oven Hearth Keto buns and bread. They are making both smaller. The buns specifically. Price has increased to. So you are getting smaller paying more. Either the recipe for bread was not 0 carb per slice so they shrunk the size to make it 0 carb. The 1 carb buns are way smaller. Either they think we are stupid and won't notice or it wasn't what they were claiming. We were buying 4 loaves a week. Now we are buying 0. Figure it out folks. I'm sure your sales are going to drop.

Love the bread but can't find a place to buy it using online location search. My sister brought me some from Chicago.

Awful truck driver, will never purchase from this company. Driver cut off 4 people including not letting people merge onto the highway during traffic.

Can you please update your store list where you can purchase your bread. no jewel around my house carries your bread anymore, and Dominick's went out of business in this area years ago. What good is a website that is not updated.
I called your company 1 month ago, and still no one has updated the website. Whose job is it?

This is my favorite bread company. When I left for college, they didn't sell it in any of the local grocery stores, so my Chicago roommate had it shipped to us. Now that I'm back in the area, I buy about two loaves per week.

It's so complete. They mix in flax seed and Omega-3, which I'm supposed to eat, although I don't understand why. But with bread this good, I don't care if I'm supposed to eat it or not - just bread me and keep your hands and feet out of the way. Yet somehow they keep it delicious and fairly low calorie, low fat, but with decent protein
