Originally operating as Corinth Hospital in the 1920's, Whitfield Nursing Home opened in 1966 and has been dedicated to patient health ever since. With 44 beds and a plethora of engaging activities, our mission is to provide care of the highest quality while making you as comfortable as possible. Transitioning from independent living to assisted living can be a challenge. In an effort to ease this transition, Whitfield Nursing Home offers 44 beds in a home-like atmosphere, with your choice between private and semi-private rooms. Additionally, you or your loved one can choose your own local pharmacy.
For years, our locally-owned and operated team has been partnering with Tri-Vista Rehab to provide personalized rehabilitation services to our patients. Through the development and restoration of mobility and critical thinking skills, our staff helps to inspire confidence as well as deliver unrivaled patient care.
If you've been using the same, trusted doctor for years, Whitfield Nursing Home believes you should be able to utilize his or her services while at our facility. If your doctor agrees to visit with you while you're with us, we see no problem in allowing you to work with him or her. Under the supervision of our medical director, Dr. Carl Welch, your medications will be administered in the exact quantities as prescribed.

Jennie has assembled a great bunch of people here. I came here two years ago unable to string two sentences together. Because of the great staff here, I am now as sensible as I was twenty years ago. (Okay, I’ve never been what most people would call sensible but for me it’s pretty good!) My overall health had been terrible for years but for over… a year I’ve been in good shape. Now, if could just walk, I’d be hot stuff! But we’re working on that.
