Alexander Carpenter, O.D. Dr. Carpenter grew up on the Eastern Shore and received his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland. He received his doctoral training and graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He was fortunate enough to serve our veterans and complete his externship with the Allentown Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Advertising and design was Niki's career before creating An Optical Galleria-a unique optical experience for all. More than an eye care practice, An Optical Galleria also features Niki's original oil paintings. Every painting sold is a one-of-a-kind piece. Reproductions will never be made, and no one else will ever have that same piece.

With over 30 years of industry experience, we attend Vision Expo yearly in New York for the latest styles, trends, and advances in frames and lens technology. Innovative and exciting products are brought home for you-our customer.

Parking is available in the Edward's Pharmacy Lot at the corner of West Water Street and Liberty Street or on the street. Our front entrance is handicap-accessible. We repair broken glasses and replace lost ones. From Route 50: Turn South on Route 611 (Stephen Decatur Highway). We are located one block off Route 50 about 1/4 mile from the outlets.

Bob and Sherri are just awesome! Bob and his staff have been taking care of me and my Special Needs son for a long time! The Optical facility we use to go to ( from our insurance provider) was providing bad service! As a result, I decided to try my local optical company and was not disappointed! Bob and his staff take excellent care of me and Chris and his frames are beautiful! Now I don’t have to go far to get the best quality and care and service! I have never had to wait long for help! They are always ready to help and they do! In my opinion, they are the Best!

A big shout out and huge Thank You to An Optical Galleria in Centreville!!! All of the online class work took a toll on Tanner's vision. Not only did he get in for an appointment (thankfully there was a cancellation) but he had new lenses in 24 hours!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff at Optical Galleria, from the owner to his phenomenal employees. They are an incredibly attentive group of people who genuinely care about their community. I have a friend who has battled a chronic illness for most of her adult life and has become bed-ridden in the past eight months. She was way overdue for some new glasses and once Bob heard her story, he went out of his way to make sure that she not only got the best care, but that she actually had many choices of stylish frames to choose from. He treated her and her mother with such compassion

My husband and I had our first appointments at An Optical Galleria yesterday. What a wonderful place. All of the staff and the owner are super friendly, professional and really took time with us. I find this to be an excellent store that serves the community well. Great selection of frames, presented beautifully. Far better quality than you'll find at chains. They don't carry some of the most popular brands - most of which are made by one large corporation. However, they do have many lesser know high-quality frames that are made in Italy and England. They will take the time to make sure you are happy and fitted properly.

When I found out I needed glasses for the first time this year, I knew I had to stop in An Optical Galleria. I heard they won "Best of Eastern Shore" at their location in Centreville, MD and I'm so glad they are now here in Ocean City, MD. The selection of stylish frames was great and their customer service was outstanding. Bob and Chris helped me find the perfect glasses by taking photos for me on their store cameras to compare each pair (I'm really indecisive).
