Laptop repair is one of the Computer Repair Services Fixit offers. Whether you need your laptop to be cleaned up and optimized, or you need a laptop screen replaced, we do it at a very reasonable cost! The first thing that we do for laptop repair is assess the problem to see if it's worth fixing. It makes no sense to pay almost the same price for a new laptop to have your laptop fixed.
We provide Computer Hardware Repair (PC & Mac) in New Orleans, Louisiana for computer problems caused by faulty hardware. We charge a $50 diagnostic fee, which is applied to the final bill to determine what the faulty hardware is; if it's not obvious. If we determine that there is any faulty hardware that needs to be replaced, we will give you a call with an estimate first, before doing any repairs on your machine.

If your Apple system has been physically damaged, we'll replace the LCD, keyboard, hard drive, memory, CPU or motherboard.
Fixit offers a wide variety of game console repairs for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 (PS4) and Nintendo Switch. We also repair older devices such as the Xbox 360 and XBox 360 Slim, Playstation 3 and Playstation 3 Slim, Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo Wii. Disc Drive / Blue Ray Repair - Xbox disc tray or disc drive will not open or won't read discs.

I went here to fix my screen that broke. The people were very nice and they were super fast. As a college student the repair was done the next day and they finished it before my semester started. It was a good deal and definitely better than buying a new computer a broken screen replacement for 150 -200 is not bad at all.

Nice, friendly service. I just needed a SIM card tray for my iPhone. They dug through their old "parts" phones and found one that matched my phone. Gave the tray to me, no charge. I'm not saying they're going to give you stuff, but that certainly will get me back there to try to throw some money at them.

I’ve gone to FixIt many times in the past to repair phones and tablets and every time they were quick, reliable, and professional. My most recent visit all I need was to transfer some files from a CD to a flash drive. Not a big job but I don’t have a way to read CD’s and I needed this done quickly for work. These guys saved my life. Computer was stuck in some kind of restart loop and the techs at Fixit pinned down the problem (a bad hard drive) and got me up and running within 48 hours. Not only that, but they installed a solid state hard drive instead of the old kind that my brother put in for me when it was built. The computer flies now and loading times are almost non-existent.
Apparently, they fix iPhones too so my wife dropped her old iPhone X off when we picked up the computer. It had a cracked screen but it looked brand new about 45 minutes later. Got these guys on speed dial now!

I took a computer that had a water spill here August 2020 & ended up having to buy a new computer because of their awful customer service & neglect. When I came in, I told them that my machine had water damage and I would like to see what they could do. They assured me that they could get to it in 24-48 hours to avoid water sitting inside of the machine for too long. I was pleased with their turnaround time, paid the deposit and left. 48 hours came and left, so on day 3, I called to ask if my computer was finished yet. They assured me it would be looked at “this afternoon or tomorrow morning”

Shocked this place has as many good reviews as it does. Avoid this place at all costs. Be aware: anything they do to your phone or any other device will void your warranty. Had a screen replaced and then a month later, my phone stopped working. Tech (Jason) opened my phone and told me it was "completely rusted out." Questioned this due to the impossibility of it (phone didn't have any sign of rust/damage when the screen was replaced just a month earlier) and was treated so disrespectfully on the phone and in person when picking up the device. The screen was clearly not put on the device properly

I have had a few iPhones. I never cracked a screen, until I bought an iPhone 8plus. During Mardi Gras, I took my iPhone to the parade route when disaster struck. It got knocked out my hands, hit the ground, then got stepped on. Anyway. I took it to this location, and it was fixed under 2hours. I thought I would have to leave it overnight. I am throughly satisfied with the service speed and quality of the work. It was totally worth it. I refused to pay insurance fees, which adds up to $180 a year, and never use it. This one time repair was less than that.

I dropped my phone and the screen cracked so I brought it in and they had it replaced by the time I had finished with errands. They also told me they replaced the battery, because it was old, but gave me a coupon so I got the battery at a discounted price. A few days later it looked like the screen was coming loose and there was a rattling sound inside. Not having time to drop it off again, and also being out of town, I returned a few weeks later. My work computer was destroyed from sitting in floodwaters for three hours. All of my hard work had not been backed up to the cloud, so I brought my laptop in in the hopes that they could recover my hard drive. These guys are SO QUICK!! I first discovered them on Groupon and they put a new screen on my iPhone within an hour! Even with all the other things they were repairing, they got mine done so quick!!
I went back to them out of sheer curiosity to see if they would be able to put a new screen on my poor shattered 2013 MacBook Pro! I originally went to Apple and Apple said I would never be able to get a screen because my computer is so old, the parts had been discontinued. When I went to Fixit, they told me they definitely could but it would be a couple days! Would you believe I got a call from them

Best phone repair in the NOLA metro area! They are affordable and extremely friendly as well as honest. My whole family- even extended family uses them. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I even had a button jammed for 6 months. I tried everything even brought it to a Samsung rep with no help and in 5 minutes they popped it out getting it working like new! Highly recommend these people they are the only ones we will ever bring our phones to!
