I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in private practice for over 20 years. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University with a specialization in clinical Social Work in NYS for individuals, couples and groups. I am a CASAC, credentialed by OASAS (NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services).
As a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and a certified member of the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), I provide clinical screenings, DWI assessments, and treatment services for driving offenders.
A history is obtained to include presenting problems, a discussion of pertinent and detailed information describing contributing factors, incidents and issues that precipitated the assessment.States use different terms to describe the offense.
