Mission Medical is a faith based non profit organization that provides free healthcare to uninsured, under-insured, and low income members of the Pikes Peak Region. On site volunteer doctors, optometrists, dentists, mental health providers, diabetes specialists and chaplains offer their services to those in need.
The services we offer include primary care, dental, optometry, behavioral health, diabetes care, spiritual care, and the ability to offer over the counter and prescription based pharmaceuticals. Treating the mind is an important component of integrated care. When suffering from chronic mental illness or going through a tough time it can take a toll on an individual, as well as his or her families well being. Behavioral Health provides a service through volunteers providing counseling and outside resources as needed.
The Diabetes Clinic at Mission Medical Center is staffed by a volunteer team is led by a renowned endocrinologist. The clinic includes a podiatrist, nurses, dietitians, and diabetes educators. In addition to focusing focusing on treating patients with diabetes, the team provides regular care and education and tips on how to manage this disease.
Mission Medical (MMC) has a fully functioning Pharmaceutical Dispensary to provide our patients as many prescriptions as possible for free. MMC tries to be a one stop healthcare service for patients. Mission Medical has a state-of-the-art Pharmacy Management System. It allows the pharmacy volunteers to fill prescriptions faster and allow MMC patients to check for drug interactions and get refills on-line.
Mission Medical is working to ensure every person in the Pikes Peak Region has the opportunity to live and thrive on their own. The Independent Living Program at Mission Medical Center makes available needed items, on a first come first serve basis, to assist in people being self-sufficient. Gently used items are provided at no cost.

DO NOT GO HERE! They are disorganized, will lie to your face about being able to help, draw things out and make it more difficult to get help. These people lied to my husband that they would put they his FMLA papers and drew this out over 2 entire weeks! They think they're a charity, they're really a bunch of fakes! Peak Vista does better

In a country where Obummercare has left most without insurance thanks to employers not offering it anymore, Thank GOD these guys are around!!!! Never had a bad experience with them, and their staff is wonderful! Getting appointments is a bit problematic, but it's mainly due to who is available so 4 stars instead of 5

Dr. R. Wayne Gage is a sadistic liar and an opportunist. Beware of what he says and record every conversation especially if you are using medication that causes severe withdrawal. He will question why you didn't get a TSH test the week Colorado Springs had a major snow storm. He either gets a kick out of abusing patients or is severely uninformed when it comes to commonly prescribed medications and accuses them of malingering and drug seeking behavior. His medical records are inconsistent with dates and even the names of drugs he prescribes. He should not be practicing medicine anymore; he has

Be careful. When you have a bunch of women running a medical organization like this, you should expect all kinds of drama with no critical thinking involved. I've always wondered why the office was void of patients every time I would go in. Now I know why. Too bad these are the organizations who get donated medication, considering they are the last people who actually need it at the end of the day.
But It's done under Jesus's name so they all have a free pass to heaven now! Isn't that how it goes?
