Services
We hired Rick to construct a new composite deck, and also used his company's services to fix various items in our house (the hinges on doors and weather stripping). We had a deadline by which we wanted the deck to be completed and Rick and his crew worked very hard to successfully complete the deck by that time, and we are very pleased with the end result.

A collection of home service providers dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and home care needs of their Westchester County friends and customers. Horrible experience. This business has all the makings of a fraud/criminal behavior.
Communication has been horrible. Getting responses from Rick at best can be a week. Emails and texts with no responses. Never answers phone and his voicemail is full.
Never showed up to start the work on time. Litany of excuses as to why things were being delayed.
Said he would refund my money and now going on 10 days with no response.
Cannot recommend enough to avoid this scam artist unless you want creative excuses as to why work doesn’t start or for him to try and steal your deposit.

I used Rick for a re-decking project and from the start he was extremely professional, friendly, responsive and suggested several different (effective) options to complete the repair. The specific carpenter that performed the work was much of the same and was extremely methodical and clean with his work. Would definitely have Rick out again and absolutely recommend him to others.

I had several deck repairs done including rebuilding a 15 step staircase. The outcome is great - high quality work. Throughout the whole process Westchester Carpentry was very responsive and provided prompt and on time service. I really appreciated that the owner worked with me on a repair plan that fit both my budget and my repair needs. I will definitely use Westchester Carpentry again and highly recommend them!

I found Westchester Carpentry in a google search online. I wanted to install an attic ladder in the ceiling in my garage to access the empty space above. Rick was great to work with. He always kept me advised as to his schedule and exact timing. He advised me in choosing the best ladder. He also made sure the flooring in the space was properly done, clearing any electrical wiring and garbage that was found up there. He was extremely careful and neat while working and cleaned up perfectly when he was done. Very polite and professional and I would definitely hire him again.
