My first interaction in this office should have made me run out the door but I was desperate. The paralegal had a puppy in the office that would bite people . I have never seen a dog in a professional environment let alone one that was allowed to bite. As a previous review stated they will not include all of your debts in the bankruptcy. John's Office staff is pretty good overall. I have called and had a surly receptionist but that only happened once. If you hire John ask questions! As another review here says he's not that personable. In my opinion he probably assumes that you know what to expect during the process but he is respectful and professional. During the initial court proceedings his office didn't get some documents turned in on time causing me to have to take another day off of work and return on a different hearing day. Terrible service. Once you have filed with him, he doesn't return phone calls. We discovered he made many mistakes (and too late) on our chapter 13 bankruptcy case. We had two mortgages that he was suppose to place on the bankruptcy as surrenders. After we concluded the bankruptcy we discovered we had been foreclosed on one of them. He also failed to list another debt of significance and the creditors came after us once the bankruptcy was concluded. Filing a bankruptcy is never a easy decision to make. When I filed, it was to get my student loans deferred simply because I was out of options. I had used all of my extensions the student loan company had to offer. I bought myself three years of time until I was stable enough to start paying them back, which is way better than a garnishment of 25% of your check. The staff at the Pytte firm is very friendly, and they try their best to make everyone as comfortable as possible. Any and all questions have always been answered throughly. Awesome attorney, I would only go to this Law Firm. :)
