We needed to have our driveway completely redone, as it had been badly eroded over the years by rainwater overflow from the street. I searched the internet and found several acceptable companies, but none that stood out except for one: Island Driveways & Patios. The reviews were all outstanding, praising the owner, the quality of the work and their overall satisfaction. I called during the weekend and the owner, John, picked up immediately. We set up a home visit for the next day, a Sunday, and agreed to move forward with John on the spot. John had excellent ideas on how to improve the drainage

John and his crew did a wonderful job on correcting the step height to my front entry which was much too high to comfortably use. He was very responsive, on time and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be using him again and highly recommend his company. Thank you, John and crew!

I would highly recommend Island Driveways & Patios. inc. They installed pavers in my back yard and made a stoop for me. They were prompt and did an excellent job. It was all finished within a few days. John the owner, was constantly in contact with me and any issues I had were resolved immediately. I would definitely use them again . A satisfied customer.

We are very happy with their work. John elaborated on my husbands original plan, and worked closely with us every step of the way. Even with challenges of the multi levels, and the existence of a 30yr old built in pool, he created what people have told us looks like a backyard oasis. It includes 3 levels, 5 staircases, 2 retaining walls and a beautiful border.

John and the team at Island Paving and Masonry is the kind of contractor you want to deal with. They are there on time to do the job, and they keep to the schedule. If the weather was interfering with them working, he called to keep me informed, he DID NOT just not show up.
We had John do our driveway, walk and a small patio paved by Island Paving and Masonry. If there was something I didn't like, It would be changed, no questions, no complaints. I am the customer and they want to please me.
