Our well pump quit working and I wasn't sure who to call. Reviews for Shidler & Wilder were positive so I tried them and they lived up to it. I contacted them through their website and left a VM around 3PM. They got back to me by 4PM and got me on the schedule first thing next day. They had to replace the pump and wiring but had us up and running by noon (less than 24 hours from initial call). The guys were professional, did great work, and didn't mind me following them around asking questions. I usually dont take the time to leave reviews but the previous ones really helped me find a great company

I had my water tested and it tested positive for coliform. Ron came out and tested our water tank first. He had to replace our 30 year old tank in our crawlspace then treat our well. He did an excellent job of explaining everything including what I needed to do the next day. Very efficient and thorough.

Ron and Ben were on time, polite, professional, informed and very knowledgeable.
They provided the best service I’ve had in the 3 years I’ve lived in the area. During that time I’ve engaged roofers, masons, plumbers, electricians , none of them held a candle to what I received today.

I needed same day service today for my well. Water pipe burst and was flooding the basement. Tom helped me over the phone this morning to get the power turned off and had the new tank and plumbing repaired by 5:00 tonight!! Great service... highly recommend them!!

Shidler & Wilder drilled our well and installed everything almost 20 years ago. Then in 2012, the well pump stopped. They were out within a day to replace the pump on a 122ft well.
Last week, we noticed a leak from the pressure tank in the basement. We called and Tom set us up with an appointment. They ran into issues on another job and as we were a last of the day appointment, they were not able to make it. Tom made sure that he called us as soon as they knew the change of the schedule. They put us on the schedule first this the next morning around 9:00 or 9:05.

1 star review only because I couldn't leave less. The guys that work there are great, Tom was a huge help. The part that was not so great is the $150 charge I received when they did nothing. The only thing the rep did was check voltage at my wellhead and again at my pressure switch. Other than that we talked amongst ourselves about my car, my property, and why CPVC is such a PITA. The guys that came were great (can't remember their names) and a pleasure to meet. For Shidler and Wilder to show up for less than an hour, not perform any service, and charge $150 is ludicrous. Alex and Ron came out to my daughter 's house and fixed everything in short order. I would refer everyone to use them. Excellent service, good attitude, very knowledgeable. They know what they are doing. I don't think that they were there 2 hours and had replaced the submersible pump and had the water going. Great job !!!
