Ornamental shrubs, bushes and evergreens will be pruned or sheared three (3) times during the season as needed to ensure a neat and professionally maintained appearance. First, the area where the concrete landscape edging will be installed has to be prepared. Ground preparation is very important in achieving a professional looking curb. A trench, two inches deep and ten inches wide, around the landscape edging beds is all that is necessary to accommodate the concrete curb machine.

If you continue to mow in the same direction, your lawn will form ruts from the wheels of the mower. The grass also tends to bend over and not take a good cut if mowed repeatedly in the same direction.
