Dr. Hirschman is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is a Michigan native and completed his undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

From the minute I walked into the Midland office until I left, I was thrilled! From the front desk woman, to Hannah and then Sarah the PA! I wish I could give them 10 stars. I felt welcomed and like I mattered to them all. What a pleasant experience…ok maybe not the freezing part. 😉

Dr. Hirschman, D.O. Has my 5 Star seal of approval. Removal of 2 Lipomas. Dr H. was the only Dr. In 6 years to have the expertise and caring of what is in the best interest of The Patient. I also, had some moles removed. He was busy that day and he made time to take care of me. I sincerely hope you make the choice to see Dr. Hirschman.***********************

First visit; 2 moles removed, feet and hand looked at. Was made to feel comfortable and not judged. Staff was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!!

Dr Derek is very friendly, professional, caring and concerned for his patients inside and outside the exam room at his practice. It's nice knowing he will address any issue to make visits more enjoyable. Office is clean and updated. He is very knowledgeable of skin conditions and doesn't hesitate to help clear them up!

I had 9:45 appointment. I was called in at 9:45 and questioned about 5 minutes by the medical assistant. Sara came in, examined me and did a biopsy. I paid my bill and made a follow up appointment. I was back in my car at 10:10. Great, compassionate ladies!
