Shamail is an award winning hair and makeup artist based in Northeast Tennessee. Her love for art, fashion, hair styling and makeup started at a very early age with a doll collection her mom curated for her with as many skin tones and hair colors represented as she could find. Her mother encouraged her to have fun, be creative, stay true to herself and explore the possibilities.
After attending Tennessee School of Beauty in Knoxville, Tennessee, she focused on continuing education in both hair and makeup techniques while building her salon clientele. Eventually, Shamail expanded her career to include working with the makeup brand MAC Cosmetics where she fine tuned her makeup artistry and through that opportunity started her traveling freelance business to accommodate a growing makeup clientele.

I used Shamail to provide on-site make-up for me, 3 bridesmaids, and my mom. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made in all of the wedding planning! It was worth every penny! Every time I look back at my photos, I am in awe at how pretty I look and it is all because of Shamail's amazing talent!

Shamail was amazing! I cannot express how easy and lovely this decision was to get my wedding day make-up done professionally. Mrs. McKenzie worked around my intense pharmacy graduation schedule to help do a make-up run through before my big day, and she was able to provide excellent service when our timeline changed day-of for the photographer! I looked flawless and received so many compliments all night on my look (I would share a photo, but I just got married last Sunday and do not have the professional photos back yet). Shamail did my daughter's hair and makeup for her pageant headshots. She was very professional, clean, organized, and timely. My daughter looked age appropriate and pageant ready for her headshots. Shamail also talked about the make up used and had pointers for my daughter on how to easily achieve the look for her hair with the advisement of face framing layers. I would highly recommend shamail for your hair and makeup needs!

Working with Shamail was one of the best experiences ever! As soon as we met, her vivacious, fun, and loving personality made me feel like I had known her for years. Shamail is so incredibly talented and did my makeup and hair in the most beautiful way. I would do anything to have her do my hair and makeup daily. I drove 12 hours for Shamail’s talent and would do it over and over again. Not only did we have a blast, but her talented hair and makeup skills made me feel incredible!

Shamail like everyone else has started is amazing and extremely talented, but its also such a joy to spend the day with her too! My daughter is 8 and what a wonderful first experience for her with having her makeup and hair styled. Shamail made sure she looked her absolute best and she did, but was also mindful of her age as well.
She was kind, uplifting, and lots of fun! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
