Services
At Three Forks, our mission is to brew delicious, well balanced beers. We love hoppy West Coast Ales, we love German Lagers, we love rich Stouts and Porters - big beers, light beers, and everything in between. Balance. The big hop beers will have a solid malt backbone to stand on. The big malt beers will have enough hop bitterness to compliment any perceived sweetness.
We love our local and regional farms! We wouldn't be able to provide such amazing food without them. We feel strongly about sourcing high quality, fresh, organic produce, meat, eggs and dairy. This allows us to keep money in our local economy, reduce our impact on the planet and serve our customers extraordinary food.

The owner of this place is totally cool and his ideals are way high. A super friendly brother! Clean, organic, local food is emphasized. Very creative and elegant dishes come out of this kitchen. I don’t like that they make you wear a mask pointlessly when ordering and then allow you to take it off when you eat. That is pure stupidity. I opt to go elsewhere these days where the rules are not so delusional but I would recommend this place as the 2nd best option in Nevada City. 1st being One Eleven because they are not controlled by governmental tyranny. They are unafraid of customer cooties and

The food is fantastic, and they have a great red beer, but they call it an amber. Service is fast. You're supposed to tip, even though you pay at the counter and pick up your own food, rather get waited at a table. The only real downside of this place, arguably, is the menu is highly variable. I have had a fantastic gazpacho and a really good chili in the past. But they didn't have either during my most recent visit. The soups never let me down, but you never know what they'll have. Same with the baked items. The only thing you can be sure about is the pizza.

To call this place a bakery would be like calling Home Depot a candy store because they have candy at the checkout line...
Having approximately 9 baked items, does not make you a bakery. A couple different types of scones, a single muffin, a pastry of some sort, some cookies, and a jammed bread was all they had to offer.
10:10 a.m., and you couldn't even order off the breakfast menu because those items are not served until 11:00 according to the staff.
They offer coffees as well, but according to the staff, those are not served past 10:00 a.m...
It seems they make up times that they serve items
