My husband and I stayed at Crazy Horse Campground from 10/13th through 10/23/2021. There were some potholes in the roads, but otherwise the campground was well maintained. The staff was wonderful. Always ready to help with a smile. The water pressure is a little bit slow, but not bad at our campsite. The camp showers could use more pressure. It's hard to wash hair and get all the soap out.
The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because every weekday morning between 600AM an 630AM a truck towing an empty flatbed trailer went by our campsite bouncing going over the holes in the road making such a racket

Absolutely love camping here every year. Although it's the most expensive place per night relatively close to home, the owners, Andy and Heather are awesome! The amenities and weekend events rock. We camp here with several other families and always drive to the local winery outside New Berlin. Just found out about a new winery that opened up right outside Jacksonville so we'll hit that one, too, next year. Best lodge, breakfast, and awesome bathrooms/shower house than any other campground other than Starved Rock lodge and Turkey Run!

We just moved to Illinois about 6 years ago and happened to be lucky enough to find Crazy Horse! We simply LOVE this campground! The small cabins are great for last minute camping plans especially if you don't own a tent or are not sure if the weather will cooperate during your stay. They always have neat activities for the kids on the weekends to keep them busy. The nightlife is action packed when they have bands on weekend nights... Yet it is a nice quiet campground that is perfect for families. The swimming pond is warm and clear with a sand beach and volleyball court. Also fishing is a must
