Before this, the closest garage door installation company was about 40 miles away, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Joining the region helped to fulfill a need locally.

My torsion spring broke on my garage door, so I called BVD to get it repaired.
They took my info but didnt get to me to fix it until 2 days later. I had the same problem with my other garage door 5 years ago. The repair cost for that fix from a differeent company was %56.00. BVD charged $250.00 for the same darn repair. This included a service call of $145.00 & $6.00 Lubrication fee for not only the new spring but another $6.00 to spray some lubricant on my other garage door. They did fix the door but be prepared to pay their inflated fees.

I needed our door replaced and used them based off their online reviews. They were very helpful and responsive in the beginning, however after installing new door it had paint missing from several spots on it. Also the inside lower support bar was extremely bent from where our daughters friends mom accidentally ran into our door and they just put the bent bar back on the replacement door. I wanted a new door not one missing paint and bent parts put back on. I called and sent pictures to their office and the lady in the office emailed me back says they were waiting on a replacement door and parts

We’ve had our garage door a few years now without any complaints. We recently had a minor issue that needed addressed by the professionals, no big deal. Blue valley was prompt in coming to fix the problem (even during the holiday season). Thankfully it was an easy fix! I was impressed with how thorough Ken was while inspecting our door. We have a huge old victorian with very high peeks and crazy angles, we also have kids toys everywhere and crazy chiahuahuas ....they navigated it all with no issues and did a great job! Everythng right down to re staking the swingset down! The guys even made friends with our very crazy lil dog, she hates everyone she doesnt know, but love that crew! They took the time to get down on her level and make friends with her, this was so nice, SHe was happy to let them work, and not be a nervous wreck barking all day!
