Since 1955 the School Nutrition Association of Pennsylvania has been proud to represent school food service professionals who make it their mission to impact positively the wellness of children through healthy school meals and to work to ensure that high quality child nutrition programs are available in all schools in the Commonwealth. In Response to recent pauses in service and supply chain concerns, SNAPA has created this site to provide you with up-to-date resources and information to navigate current challenges.
Services
The School Nutrition Association of Pennsylvania (SNAPA) was organized in 1955. SNAPA is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the membership. SNAPA is recognized as the authority on school nutrition in Pennsylvania, SNAPA has been advancing the availability, quality and acceptance of school nutrition programs as an integral part of education in the Commonwealth for over 60 years!
Must have held membership in SNA/SNAPA for at least three (3) years immediately preceding the nomination. Must have demonstrated association leadership by serving on the board of a chapter, on the SNAPA Board or a Committee. Must have served in the SNAPA Board of Directors as a voting member for at least one full year within the past five (5) years.
