Tired of your stock interior, The owner of this Lotus was. With his input we decided on double diamond stitched black leather seat inserts, door panel inserts, and center console using yellow thread that matched the exterior color. Here's is a 69 Camaro Z11 Pace car with a custom interior upholstered in all leather, styled to resemble the original.
Here at Vantage Upholstery we custom make our tops for hand built cars like the Rolls Royce Corniche, Bentley Continental, and the Aston Martin Volantes to ensure proper fit since these tops can vary. We also install tops manufactured by quality after market companies other vehicles. We can also fabricate a top boot or custom tonneau cover.
Mercedes seats are commonly constructed of a molded "horse hair" pad on top of a metal spring frame. These pads tend to disintegrate and fall apart causing damage to the seat cover and it makes for an uncomfortable seat. Here you can see the before and after of a rear seat we repaired because of this exact problem.
The car came in from paint with no interior or trunk panels what so ever, so we had a fresh slate to work with. We started by making wood panels using a combination of thin multi-ply specialty woods. These plywoods are thin, strong, lightweight, and permit the finished panels to removed without being damaged.
