Bergheim Campground

I stayed there for the summer and it was really nice:) Customer service was great and campground was pretty peaceful. 10/10 recommended to families, or anyone who just wants to have a good time!

Great manager and staff here. Very flexible with their shuttle services.

My kids absolutely love this campground. It is a very special section on the Guadalupe River with steady stream flow and pools throughout.
Gorgeous in the fall and tubing this section of the river is one of the best spots in Texas.
Take a tent and enjoy!

Freaking awesome staff! Helpful and nice. Even took up the extra trash cans I brought and emptied them for me. Clean water and grounds. They do a really great job out there.

Good place to float. $18 bottomless tube, $20 with bottom. After going bottomless, may have preferred with a bottom because there are several rocky areas where you can get scraped. The river flowed extremely slow and took us about 7 hours, so be sure to pack snacks! The RV park area is a bit grungy but fine.

I only submit reviews if there is something really worth sharing. Normally that's a great experience or something out of the ordinary. Unfortunately this is not one of those. March 2021 I booked an anniversary river floating trip for June. I was looking for an RV site on the river and liked the location, reviews and website. The no dogs allowed caught my eye as well.... More on that later.
I spoke to an employee on my first call because the owner was out. I called back 2 weeks later to verify with the owner, who verified my reservation. I called again the first of June, a week away from our arrival

Robin & Will are great hosts. We visit there twice a year to memorialize one of our beloved family members, who's life was cut short 7 yrs ago. It was one of his favorite places to be... Will and Robin are kind & thoughtful whenever we are there~ Many thanks to them. 😊

Came here in May of 2019 and rented kayaks with some friends and the trip down the Guadalupe was so peaceful and serene. There were a few rapids- maybe class III- it did rain for a bit on our trip but it was all well worth it. A bit on the pricey side but it was about a two hour ride and they shuttled us back from the drop off point. For what it’s worth it was a wonderful experience.

Excellent campground right on a perfect slice of the river complete with two rope swings and a shallow section. Laid back staff will work with you to make sure you have a good time and if you forget some essentials they have some there for normal prices. Good people, good river, good times.
