Early in 2006, Donald & Janet Wilkerson and Rodney & Louise Dunnam began to formulate a plan to help addicts and alcoholics. CAAIR began as a simple concept; to give men with addiction issues a second chance in life. Who hasn't made some bad decisions in their lives? We believe that everyone deserves a second chance.

CAAIR provides the environment for men to learn to make good decisions, to be a good family man, a good employee, and a good community member. CAAIR provides everything the men need, but they must bring the "want to", or in other words, the desire to change. I tell people ALL the time that God has a plan for their lives.
Services
Each potential client is interviewed by a member of the CAAIR staff. This is done either on the telephone or in person. The interview is two-fold; (1) to determine if the potential client is ready to change their life, and (2) to share with them what they can expect from CAAIR. This program is based on the philosophy of change, which leads to a clean and sober life.
CAAIR Clients are expected to follow the rules of the Management Team. Disciplinary procedures, up to and including dismissal from the program, will be given to clients who choose to not follow the rules. Listed below is a list of minor and major rule violations. This is not a comprehensive list. Other infractions of rules set forth by the Management Team may also result in disciplinary procedures.
In-house counseling is provided for all Clients. Clients are assigned a small group upon arrival and required to attend weekly sessions. Ninety days prior to graduation, Clients work with a counselor to develop a detailed Relapse Prevention Plan as well as attend the "Life After CAAIR" class, in order to better their chances at long term sobriety upon program completion.

Curious how all the reviews are either 5 stars and generic, or 1 star and talking about how the place is a work-camp and a slave plantation while being way more specific. curious

CAAIR does not provide meaningful rehabilitation. Bible study is emphasized instead of their ineffective 12-step treatments.
Under threat of prison time, workers, coerced into defining themselves as "clients", are unpaid and do not receive necessary labor protections like workman's comp. Injured workers are forced to keep working under threat of harsh punishments while CAAIR pockets the workman's comp settlements.
CAAIR is currently facing multiple lawsuits for their abusive and inhumane practices.

Words can not express my appreciation to CAAIR. I had sent my grandson to military schools, at least 3, 30 day rehap programs nothing has worked. He has been in and out of trouble with law Enforcement and was not sure what to do. Drugs had consumed his life and I was at a lost what to do. I was not sure I’d one day I would find him dead.
By pure chance I came across The CAAIR Program. After speaking with them, they reached out to him and he decided it was time to get help.
My grandson loved this place. Never once did he call and want come home. It was not easy for him but he adjust and just

My son began his recovery here & he's the best of himself now. He always ate good & learned proper "man" things that addiction caused him to rebel against. He continues to live sober & in recovery for over 20 months now. I'm grateful this place and these men were available to help when he was ready, even though it was court ordered at first. Also, about the work thing, I think it is helpful that these men provide for themselves while recovering.

I have seen first-hand the way God has used this program to transform the lives of men and women. I say women because, although women can’t get into this program, the difference that CAAIR has made in the lives of the men they know, directly impacts them. My husband was a client of CAAIR and now he works with the courts to make sure these men get the same opportunity that he did to change their lives. I am grateful for this program and how God used it, to give me the now transformed version of my husband. I have met the people that work for CAAIR as well as some of the clients, and CAAIR has

I was asked to rate the CAAIR program & I have heard the negative things that have been said about it. I know there are things that they can probably improve on, but what I also know is they saved my son's life. He was in & out of jail, in & out of mental institutions & in & out Emergency Rooms. I don't know how he managed to survive as long as he did, he had OD'd several times. I believe the best thing that could have happened is when the Judge ordered him to prison or a year long rehab. Almost 2 years later, not only is he still sober, he is becoming the man I always knew he could be. I am thoroughly

As of 1.21.18, I have been clean 30 months . I’am very appreciative of the Caair program and what I was able to obtain there as a client. They provided a very structured environment for me to learn about the underlying issues of my addiction. God Bless Caair and the men there fighting for their lives ....

I was a participant in the Tulsa County Drug Court program and had gotten into some trouble and put in jail. After a few weeks of incarceration I had my day in court and was given an ultimatum. Two years in prison or 9 months at a place they affectionately referred to as the chicken farm, aka Caair. Obviously I chose Caair. I arrived December of 2015 and by some miracle I lasted 3 months. Before I began work at Simmons chicken factory I was forced to work "community service" at the Delaware County Landfill sorting through garbage. I was approached by one of the "dorm managers" one night and asked
