Second Update: I had 3 or 4 conversations with a sales rep from Window Screen Pros and he determined my original order was correct and said I should re-order it the same way that I originally did. I re-ordered it and received the exact same incorrect screen.
Update: I left a voicemail message last night and did get a call back this morning from an employee. I also got the response below and refund from the owner. This isn't unfortunately what I wanted -- I wanted the screen fixed, not a refund. I'm glad that the lines of communication are now open and hoping I'll be able to re-pay for the correct

Unhappy experience. My screen arrived today (I paid about $33 for shipping, $45 for the screen) and it was unevenly made and didn't fit. I ended up bending the screen AND destroying the paint of my window sill trying to get it in, but couldn't make it work. I wrote the company an admittedly pretty angry letter at this point. I got a phone call from the owner who was indignant over my "threatening" email and a defensive argument about the fine print that gives them 1/16th of an inch leeway. He told me I'd never be happy and refunded my money.

They mean well, but execution leaves much to be desired. My order (two simple screens) took three weeks from order to door. When it arrived I found one screen in the box, not two, even though the enclosed order confirm clearly stated there should be two screens.
On top of that the one screen I received was made incorrectly even though I added a detailed note based on great input from Brett.
To cancel my order and receive a refund I was instructed to "destroy" the shipped screen and take a picture of it and send it to them. Strange request I thought, but it worked. Not sure why

Updated Review: I ordered 3 custom-sized window screens. The FIRST order arrived with bent window screens. I emailed and called a few times, but didn't receive a response from the company, until I wrote a negative review. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, after speaking with Bret directly on the phone, who sincerely apologized for the bent window screens and said he'd make it right. I decided to give the company a second chance. I understood that it could be FedEx's fault, but as a paying customer the order should still be trusted to arrive in perfect condition.
