Services
Chehalis West Assisted Living, founded by William (Bill) and Ella Hammond, opened its doors in 1985. Bill, having been in the health care industry for a number of years in various capacities, desired to open a care facility that provides personal care services for seniors who need assistance, social support, and a safe environment in which to live.

The facility has many different apartments that vary in size and style. We designed our rooms to be as open and accessible as possible, so that our residents can move freely.
Chehalis West Assisted Living Center was founded by Bill and Ella Hammond in 1987. Since this time, we have established ourselves as one of the more desirable care facilities in the area. I worked at Chehalis West, for a year as I was obtaining my high school degree. This was my first job. I was hired as a dietary aid.
My mom also worked at Chehalis West, for 5 years. She was known as a favorite among the residents.
Both of us quit, due to a extremely toxic work environment. We were always short staffed, due to the amount of people quitting, because of the poor workplace environment.
There was continuely gossip, and very poor management. Several of the workers across different departments had issues with the management but as normal, nothing was done. The management team bullied
