William M. Reed founded W. M. Reed Construction, Inc. in 1971 as a residential and small industrial construction company. The company experienced successful growth and in 1992, William's son, J. Myles Reed, returned to Bay Minette, Alabama, to join his father's growing construction firm.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Auburn University and the valuable experience of working for large general contractors in Atlanta, Georgia and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Myles brought a strong portfolio of experience and knowledge to the company.Myles became the sole owner and President in 1999 and renamed the company Reed Construction Company, LLC.
