Elite Medical Aesthetics was born out of a dream to help people to look and feel their best, by combining the best of modern medicine, technology, and cutting edge treatments with holistic, basic foundational wellness. We are a small practice with a single provider: Shawn Whitfield, FNP-C. Shawn lives right here in Woodbury, TN with his lovely wife Ashley and their two dogs, Oakley and Cooper.
Shawn is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He earned his Masters in Science, Nursing degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL, and his Bachelor of Science, Nursing degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM.

I have had 4 appointments now for tattoo removal. Shawn is very professional and the procedure is incredibly quick. He is always able to work around my schedule and get me in and out. Using a professional for tattoo removal is just as important as getting a tattoo. I would definitely suggest Elite for any of the anesthetic options they offer.

Shawn is WONDERFUL! He is friendly & easy going, but also a professional who was able to speak knowledgeably to the process and put me at ease since this was my first experience with any kind of aesthetic treatment. I'm already looking forward to going back!
