They were very personable and sincere. Explained the benefits of the 2 different models I was interested in. I was able to make an informed decision. Adjusted the bike for me and explained how and why in the process. I love my new bike. Rode it home from the shop. I highly recommend their shop.Got a snazzy new helmet to match.

My mom nicely offered to drop my bike off at the Douglas location. She explained about the bike and was following the people's directions in what to do next, the first guy said they didn't work on the bike. The next guy said well let the team look at it and finally the first guy was offended by that and their special schedule and started ordering folks around to not help her. The first guy was Patrick from the videos. The other guys in the shop tried to help but he wasn't having it. Meanwhile my mom had to stand their and listen to him grouse making her feel incredibly anxious and

Jay was great to work with, and brought the bike all the way from Wichita to Salina for me. Excellent guy! But, while on a ride a week or so later, I came up with two flat tires from a few stickers. I paid extra to have the slime installed just so I wouldn't have rhis happen 6 miles from home. I notified Jay and he said he wasn't sure what happened, and said he put a credit on my account. All in all not a terrible experience, just make sure you get what you're paying for and maybe ask a few extra questions on the services that cost you extra.

I am very disappointed!!!!!!-Terrible customer service again. I had bought my beautiful Trek bike from there a few years ago. I did not know think they were open and but called to check. Their answering machine came on and I started leaving a message. All of a sudden someone picked up the phone and said "Mam, we are not returning many calls but we are open..." I was surprised someone picked up and he said "Mam!" I said "Yes.: He said "We are here." And hung up!
WOW! I apologize for being such an inconvenience to you!

Mike is the rudest of business owner I've ever met in my life! He's only kind if you spend thousands, honestly. Take pics of your bike BEFORE you take it in. We purchased a brand new bike & I took my bike in and paid almost $400 to have it serviced up and it came out with a huge enormous scratch through the stainless steel. They were INCREDIBLY rude and I would not ever buy anything from here again. MIKE the owner the is the ABSOLUTE WORST! I will NEVER service or buy anything from here again.

I love bicycle x change over other bicycle places and bike parts especially walmart inner tubes. I love how they are helping kids with bikes. I need to work on one of my daughter bike the other daughter wants a bike. But has to wait. We dont make much. With covid and rent bills we have to save up for one.

See update below**. I have visited only twice but each time I was greeted quickly and with purpose. Patrick was super knowledgeable and friendly! I was seeking info on smart trainers and gravel bikes to which Patrick answered all my questions I was able to try out trainers and look at several models of bikes. I'll be back!
**Update... With one phone call Bicycle Exchange lost a $4K sale! My wife and I were ready to make our purchase decision for a bike and indoor trainers so we made a phone call to BX to verify some numbers before we made the hour drive. Patrick was not in so Mike

Very experienced and helpful staff helped us find the right bikes for what we need. After initially looking at used bikes I was shocked at how affordable brand new Trek bikes were. On our 30 day free tune up the repair tech got us taken care of quick as we were on our way to Colorado. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a good bike!

This is the place to go for a bike. I thought I knew what I wanted, and Patrick's immense knowledge and patience led me to a much better fit for me. Everyone is really friendly and fun to be around. My intent was to shop a few stores in town before making a decision, but it was clear that this is the place I want to do business with long term. I am very happy with my purchase and so grateful for the effort they put into making sure I was a happy customer. One stop shop! Support local business!

I have been a customer of BXC since the 80's. I just picked up a set of custom wheels to have laced and they took great care and they came out great. The shop has been in business 44 years so that says something. Rated in the top 40 bmx bike shops of all time and year after year voted best bike shop in the Wichita area. I love going in BXC and looking at the bike history whether it is bmx, mountain, or road. I like how they set the shop up to keep customers engaged while shopping there. You will also find hands down the best selection of bikes Wichita has to offer.
Highly recommend visiting

I just got into biking 3 years ago and it is probably one best ideas I have had! They offer all kinds of bikes from casual comfort, trail, street/road, to everything else in-between those options. I own a Trek hybrid that is great for on and off the road. I can't catch those super high speeds on the road like a road bike but that's ok because I love taking my bike over to Millers Meadow South East Wichita, KS. I always appreciate their honesty. If you don't like wha they suggest they always have other suggestions to help you find what you want. If you don't want to buy

This is the best bike shop in Wichita. They have a friendly and knowledgable staff, and an insanely huge selection of in-stock bikes of all kinds. They also have an excellent selection of accessories.
The service department is fast and friendly and the fees for the work performed I feel are very reasonable. I like that they will work on all bikes and not just the bikes they sell.
A very nice shop and in a very convenient central location. Highly recommended.

By far the most knowledgable bike shop in Wichita. People new to biking might not realize how important it is to have a knowledgable person to help you navigate the sport. Definitely take advantage of their free 30, 60, and 90 day tune-ups. For one it takes that long for a new bike to "settle" and you'll need the adjustments and it's a great chance to pick their brains about anything related to biking.

I gave this bike shop 2 stars only because the customer service was good. As far as them fixing my bike! That is another story. I went to get the front gear railing adjusted. They quoted me $10.50+tax. I get a call 2 days later saying that the screw on the bottom bracket holding the gear cables broke and to repair/replace it would cost another $40.00! Why should I pay for a screw to get out when they snapped the thing? And I know that labor to remove the screw isn't worth no $40.00! Haven't these clowns heard of an "easy out"? And to top things off, my bike doesn't shift
