Triangle Engineering

Triangle Engineering Corporation was started in 1964 by a group of tool and die makers who had dreams of becoming one of the finest shops in the Indianapolis area to design, manufacture, and market tool and die products. This initial concept was never attained.

In 1966, two of the three owners left the organization and started what is now a partnership that has blossomed into one of the premier mid-range precision machine shops in the Indianapolis area.With the combination of experience and innovative ideas came opportunities to service area manufacturers in a unique fashion.

Our portable etching system uses an electric current to create a mark. Able to create alphanumeric identification, Data Matrix codes and logo designs, it is often used for small to medium production runs of aerospace components. This process is ideal where tight tolerances over surface treatments exist.

Note: These tolerances are dependent upon material(s), design of parts, as well as pre-machined sizes prior to honing. We do process many jobs thru to completion that require many other grinding processes (O.D., I.D., profile, centered and centerless grinding). We use a list of highly qualified vendors who work well with Triangle to ensure a quality product in a timely fashion.

Triangle has experience in providing parts for various branches of Defense both directly and more commonly as a sub-tier supplier. TACOM, Northrup Grumman, L3, Rolls-Royce, Major Tool Machine, Bectal, and Raytheon are just a few companies that we have supplied services to throughout the years. Our continual improvement and growth fuels us with a desire and ability to expand in these areas.
