We at the Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority (SCCMHA) have a deep-seated belief in the potential of every person we meet. We however do not carry out our work alone.- SCCMHA has many partnerships both large and small, both formal and informal.- Our partners work with us to meet the needs of those it is our honor to serve and work with in the community of Saginaw and in our region.-
These partnerships include schools, courts, law enforcement and other first responders, child welfare and protection agencies, housing and shelter providers, employers, colleges and universities, hospitals, primary and specialty health care providers, the faith community, community agencies and a host of other volunteers.

The Michigan Mental Health Code defines service populations, including persons with developmental disabilities, adults with serious mental illness and children with severe emotional impairments. SCCMHA is also responsible for persons with substance use disorders.

It seems important at this moment for the leadership of Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority to speak to the hearts and concerns of our community. The unjust death of George Floyd has touched our individual and collective consciences, we are grieving, we are outraged, we are called to speak out and we are moved to act.
Mid-State Health Network (MSHN) is the Medicaid Managed Care Organization for a portion of Michigan's behavioral health services. MSHN and its provider network are responsible for maintaining an adequate service delivery system for persons with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness, Serious Emotional Disturbances, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Disorders.
Consumer satisfaction surveys provide valuable feedback and insight into the perspectives of consumers regarding the care and services they receive. Recovery assessments measure the recovery environment of the agency and the consumer's perception of individual recovery. Performance indicators are a way of measuring how well we are helping the individuals we serve by meeting standards of care such as timeliness, efficiency and effectiveness.
