I've been to a number of optometrists over the years with, more often than not, positive experiences. Mike, the optician, at DeMers is by far the most professional and conscientious optician I've experienced. His fitting go so far beyond, "those look good on you", I'd follow him if he were to ever leave. His experience and expertise level is so far ahead of the competition it's as though he's the only optician with a bag of tricks.

Dr. Scott and the staff are fantastic. Very helpful and thorough in explaining anything that comes up. I used them as they came up through my insurance and had great reviews. I am very happy with my experience and plan to stay with them for many years to come.

You guys should really update your receptionist to let clients know that your closed for 2 hours during the middle of the day. When they specifically ask if they can come anytime to pick up glasses. Because apparently everyone has to be taking lunch time together at the same time. Could definitely utilize your time better👍🏼

Have been here 3 times now and I have to say the service is just excellent. The staff is polite, courteous, and knows what they are doing. The office is clean and well maintained. I have seen 2 different eye doctors, both have been excellent. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. I definitely recommend this place. I live in Southern California and spend quite a bit of time in Reno and I come here for eye care.

I have been to so many different eye doctors in the area over the years, and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. They had a cancellation the day I called to set an appt, so I was able to get in within an hour. The insurance wasn't pulling up so they immediately called and got it handled. Everyone was extremely sweet. I will definitely be back!

I took my three year old son here for his first vision screening and was very pleased by the service we recieved. We had the pleasure of meeting both Dr. Leslie DeMers and Dr. Scott DeMers (they're married which is so sweet) and they were both exceptionally gentle in their treatment of my child. He was understandably scared and they went above and beyond to put him at ease. This is the best optometrist in town. I’ve been to so many and I was told by every one that it was normal for contacts to irritate your eyes with only two hours of wear. When I brought it up at DeMers they were willing to work with me to find the contact that was most comfortable for me. My husband also had issues at every dr reading the sight board. None of those drs looked into it or understood when he said that he didn’t see the letters like regular letters. A dr at DeMers actually ended up looking into it and discovered that he has an eye disease which greatly impacts his vision.

Dr M then Dr Lesley and Dr Scott.
Dr Scott discovered the beginning of my thyroid eye disease, he was so kind but truthful about the disease, it was a long long journey with many surgeries. Now, finally with my new lenses that Dr Lesley refracted for me, I can see better than I have in years. I've also been severely near sighted with astigmatism since grade school so having clear vision is a very very big deal.

First time here, took my whole family. Very convenient because they were able to book all 4 family members together with the same doctor. From check in to picking out glasses and checking out, everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Kinjo was amazing. He made sure we understood what he was explaining. Would highly recommend them. I've been going here for years and have always been pleased. The staff is super kind and helpful and the doctors that I've seen are so kind and do all they can to help. The only downside is they are busy, so scheduling can be a month out if you can't make mornings, but, I just plan for that when I need to go. They have done a great job with the COVID measures as well. Very clean.

I've been going to DeMeres for years. I have consistently had positive experiences with my appointments, my husband's appointments and with my kids too. All their staff is always kind, and helpful. Appointments are easy to schedule and run on time.

I was looking for an eye doctor and based on reviews and a quick look at their website I decided to make an appointment. Amazing service and beautiful facility. The receptionists were very kind once I arrived and I was able to get in super quick after filling out a few forms. My appointment was with Dr Scott who was very personable and professional and answered any question I had about my glasses and contacts. They are very kind people and the service was great and quick. The eye dr I saw was very nice and professional and very informative. I had a great experience there and it comforted me that they had little play areas for children in the offices in case you had little ones with you. It was great service all together plus they help you with discounts too just for that added help in paying for your glasses😊.

They are always so friendly and efficient here. And I feel that my exam is about as thorough as it can be.
I lost insurance last year, but the annual checkup is still very much worth the cost of checking on a vital area of my well-being.

I scheduled an appointment and it was about two weeks out. I went in and did my vision check up and explained to the doctor that I was moving to Mexico in 5 days and they said that they wouldn't not be able to have them done in time. Then the doc was like hold on a second. He left the room for a minute or two, came back, and explained that since they had the correct lenses for my prescription they might be able to wing it. I was stoked and I picked out the frames that I wanted and they said alright we'll call you in the next couple of days when they are ready. I went grocery shopping

I don't even know where to begin. I will not go back here at all. Front staff was not welcoming and the blonde was rude. Made a huge deal about not getting a referral from my Dr. which they did get by the way. But I went out front wondering if I should just leave. But I needed to be seen. No smiles for them.
One guy takes me back, very professional, does what he needs to do. Then Dr Scott comes in, very nice and helpful. Said the blister in my is from allergies. Prescribed stuff and I'm on my way.

Been going since I was in middle school. Has always been amazing. They hire great employees. Always helpful with picking out glasses and fitting them. Don't have to wait in the waiting room long before your appointment which is one of my favorite things. Super smart doctors. Really comfortable.

Not very nice people at all!! I would not advise anyone to go here. I really think this place solely exists to take your money.

Very nice office staff and the doctor helped me immensely. It's nice to see again when the last doctor said there was nothing further to be done.
As far as buying glasses, they were much more expensive than some places but... you get what you pay for.

My whole family goes here. They are always nice and pleasant easy to deal with. Great customer service.
