Our wine is produced from our estate vineyard "ECHO WEST" which sits on the south/southeast slope of the bluff on our Echo West Ranch in Echo, Oregon. We grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Carmenerre, Pinot Noir and Muscat Canelli. We hold a variety of special events throughout the year including music, grill ins, tasting nights, yoga, murder mystery parties, and more!
Our Wine Club members enjoy complimentary wine tastings, bottle discounts, first tastings, and fun pick-up parties or we can always mail your wine to you. The historic town of Echo is best known as a stop on the Oregon Trail. You can visit the former settler campsite in Fort Henrietta Park. Echo boasts 10 buildings currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including our tasting room, housed in the 1905 Koontz Building.

We grew up in the rural west surrounded by heady views of the mountains and the stark beauty of the desert. In 1959, my father moved to Washington state and our family started a farm on the sage covered desert. Many other families dreaming of land ownership shared our experience living in tents and basement homes and simple shelters as we attempted to tame the desert - very few achieved their dreams.
We host a wide variety of events throughout the year like Mystery Parties, Car Shows, Live Music, Grill-In's, Echo Red 2 Red Mountain Bike Race, Holiday Events and more. For upcoming events please visit the Events section on our Facebook page. Our masquerade balls held in our ballroom are tons of fun and an excuse to dress to the nines!

I stopped and had a flight+ while doing a tour of wineries in Columbia valley. Of all the places, i sampled, this winery was the most distinctive. They were earthier, not as jammy and nicely balanced. They pointed out that their soils were more volcanic. The staff was super nice and old building and outdoor patio were both interesting, nicely curated, and comfortable. Go there.

We came across Sno Road Winery through Harvest Hosts and we’re so glad that we did. Akiera (spelling?) was so friendly when we arrived and did a great job hosting us. We purchased a dry Muscat wine for our… travels as we are traveling through Oregon in our RV. We are looking forward to enjoying our bottle for one of our dinners on the coast.

We were so in love with this winery! From the moment we walked in, the owner made us feel welcome and wanted. He was very engaging in explaining the wines, as his passion for quality clearly showed in both his comments and his wines. We couldn't help but join the wine club after being beyond pleased with the wines themselves and the owner. Fantastic wine, will be returning soon!
