The award-winning Rettew's Catering, headquartered in Manheim, PA is a family business, operated by a husband and wife team. Jennifer Rettew Bushey purchased the company from her father and previous business partner, Bruce D. Rettew. We can also provide desserts, beverage service, disposable or china plates, napkins, utensils, etc. I am writing to thank you and your staff for a job well done at my client's recent reception. From planning and coordinating the event, to the impeccable food, visual display, and service at the reception, I was impressed with the foresight and attention to detail that was demonstrated.
I was so pleased with every aspect of Rettew's service. From our initial one-on-one consultation to our group tasting. The staff was always responsive, informative and kind via email the whole year (+) of planning our wedding. Rettew's catered our wedding on 9/25/21 and everything turned out exactly as we envisioned. We received so many compliments on how good our food was. Guests raved about our appetizers (bacon-wrapped scallops, crab cakes, chicken and waffles, mac and cheese cups, and meatball parm slider). Guests also loved our entrees and constantly mentioned how tender the short ribs were and how perfectly the chicken and salmon were cooked. Hiring Rettew’s to be our wedding caterer was one of the best vendor decisions that I made during my wedding planning process. From start to finish the customer service, communication, quality of food and overall execution was five stars. Michelle Gruber was so easy to work with and was very understanding when I postponed my wedding a full year due to the pandemic. I then changed my venue, and Michelle worked directly with me and my new venue to get onboarded without a hitch. And then on wedding day, the food was DELICIOUS. I can't stress how amazing Rettew's Catering is, five stars just doesn't do them justice. This was by far the best decision I made for my event. The entire team was so hospitable, friendly, accomodating, and worked with me in every aspect. I hosted an event at Historic Shady Lane on October 24th, 2020. I had been working with Jennifer specifically to plan this event and customize everything for about 150 guest. Due to last minute changes the event was downsized to about 75 people just a little over a month before the event date. I was extremely stressed as I had to try to make adjustments to each

Rettew’s food at our wedding was absolutely INCREDIBLE! From cocktail hour through dessert, our guests enjoyed every bite. We had the ability to fully customize our menu into something that suited our needs and gave everyone a unique experience. Michelle was amazing to work with from start to finish for our many requests and helping to keep our guests safe. In addition, nearly the entire menu was made gluten free for the groom! Rettew's recently catered my daughter's outdoor wedding and we were extremely pleased! From the delicious appetizers to the scrumptious food stations to the excellent bartender, they were professional, efficient, attentive, and most of all very friendly. Because of COVID, my daughter and fiancé were not able to do a tasting before the wedding so we relied on their excellent reputation. And we were not disappointed! I highly recommend Rettew's for their customer service and high quality of food! A huge thank you to the entire staff who helped make the wedding a very memorable day

We first heard about Rettew's Catering through our venue. We wanted to customize our menu to food that we love, such has pizza and tacos! Rettew's was able to do that for us for cocktail hour and then include more of our favorites for dinner. We first spoke with Michelle who gave us details about their services and then invited us to a group tasting. The group tasting was something I loved about Rettew's as well. Sorry I didn't get to finish this review until now. I remember the food very well. This is the first time the company I work for strayed from there standard go to BBQ place. The food and service was fantastic. Forget seconds you were looking at your 3rd trip. I hope my company keeps bringing them back. Thanks for a memorable dinner.

Rettews came to us as an 'approved' vendor at the venue we chose for our wedding. The food was outstanding, the service was professional, and we'd highly recommend them.
We had appetizers served while we took pictures and the pork belly was our absolute favorite and the baked brie was a close second. They were both fan favorites!!!
We had the filet and porcini ravioli for dinner. I was a little nervous as the majority of the guests (20) picked the filet as far as the doneness. They catered to my dad and I liking it a little more red than the rest of the bunch. It was perfect

Rettew's catered my wedding on July 13th at the Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster and they offered exceptional service. Jennifer was excellent with communication & staying within our budget throughout the entire planning process. The tasting session we had was phenomenal - the food is fabulous!
