We are Augusta's first and only donation-based yoga studio, with diverse offerings ranging from Hot Power classes to relaxing Yin Yoga and Aerial Yoga. We also offer several population-specific classes that directly support the work our nonprofit Project Create Space does in the community, allowing us to bring no-cost, specialized yoga programs to underserved communities all around the CSRA.
All of our classes are taught from a body-positive, trauma-informed perspective and we strongly adhere to a no-touch philosophy. We work hard to make our classes as physically and financially accessible as possible. Our mission is holistic and inclusive. We believe in making the transformative power of yoga accessible to everyone, and we believe in the power of our community to support us.

I tried 2 different clases and both were cringey and pretentious. The teachers were too in love with the sound of their own 'spiritualism' and doing their own practice at the front of the class. There was zero adjustments or individual attention to the students in the class. No check in with students before class about injury or experience. The classes left me more irritated than relaxed as is not what authentic yoga or teaching is.

Space is just that a unique space. Suspended within a beautiful church it exudes elegance, gravititas and joy. Run by owners John and Catia, two beautiful, soulful authentic humans who welcome and inspire gratitude. Experienced yoga teachers who offer their own unique blend and style of yoga to meet everyone’s needs there is no reason to look else where. This is the shahla where you can cultivate your own practise under the guidance and expertise of the teachers. Friendships are born and made here too, what more could you possible ask for.

In a small city already dense with quality yoga studios, SPACE is an outstanding offering which I will return to time and time again. The studio’s unusual but peaceful setting, decor and most importantly teachers create a profound sense of serenity where you can fully tune in and receive everything you need from the yoga practice. SPACE is run with thought and kindness and I would recommend this beautiful studio to all, from absolute beginners to seasoned yogis.

I've been practicing here for about three years and it's one of my homes now. From the moment I went into the sala I knew I wanted to spend more time in it, it's so cosy, clean and comfortable and all of the teachers are brilliant. There's a good variety of classes, different styles of yoga and for varying levels of experience, always 3/4 classes a day so you're bound to be able to practice with one of them. Can't recommend it enough!

This is a real gem in Brighton, the studio is nested within a church, providing beautiful light through the stained glass. There are many styles and levels to choose from which is great depending on how you feel on a given day. The owners John and Catia are warm and generous, clearly striving to build a welcoming and authentic community. Having tried many studios in Brighton, this is the one for me! x

Took some friends here after moving from a town with a very luxurious hot yoga studio. These guys really made good use of an old building space. The layout of the building is a bit awkward and not the most zen-looking environment I've ever seen. I wish they would burn incense or oils during sessions. Also wish they had mirrors like many other studios to check form. Besides the small cosmetics, the classes are enjoyable, challenging, and affordable.

The best studio I've been to in Augusta. The staff are all amazing and super friendly. The space itself is modern, clean, and energizing. On top of it all, the prices are affordable with a $12 beginning drop-in rate. You might have to walk for parking or wait for the class before you to pull out, but it's a nice area nonetheless. My favorite part is how easy it is to look up class schedules on their website, super user friendly. Overall, Space yoga is an amazing place that I would recommend anyone and everyone to visit.

The studio was really cute honestly. It was my first time doing yoga here in Augusta and because of all the high ratings I wanted to check it out, although the check and offer is false the $12 for the class was well worth it. I like that the studio is donation-based and that you can choose what you think each class is worth. Everybody had a really fun attitude towards the class even though it was very difficult even for me who practices yoga a few times a week. A lot of laughs and a lot of sweat thanks guys

I just finished the beginners class on Sunday night. Megan is the instructor; she is awesome. Her direction was very clear & on point. I never felt lost wondering exactly what I was supposed to be doing, nor did I have to look at her to know. She did an excellent job guiding me through my practice. Thank you Megan. I will be returning. Namaste.

Know this; upon coming here I had only attempted yoga once. It was with my sister and resulted in me face down on the fall, unable to get myself upright. But I was in search of ways to relieve anxiety and this was a method recommended by many. Having crossed paths with the owner via Social Media, I already knew the level of passion she had and arrived in anticipation of a great experience.
My class was a beginner's class and I was hoping that others were in the same category as me. Mat under my arm, flip flops on my feet I walked in. I had reserved a spot online (via their website, but

Unfortunately my daughter and I were unable to attend class here. I called the morning of and left a message. I had some questions about the aerial yoga class and whether or not my daughter was old enough to attend. I checked the schedule, and it appeared that a class was in session at the time of my call. I assumed their messages would be checked before leaving. Sadly, my call was never returned. Also, the studio has a four hour in advance cancellation policy or paying for the unattended class. Be sure and attend class or call in advance or you may be charged. Luckily, there are other

I have attended a few classes now at Space and have enjoyed them. I've only done beginner classes here so far, but I'm soon going to start branching out. This is a great studio. I've only had classes with Annie, and she is a positive, wonderful person. I am looking forward to doing more yoga here in the future.
The only downside is the size of the studio. So if you get a big group there maybe a tight squeeze. But they do their best to make it work so everyone feels welcome.

Awesome!!!!!! I love this place! This studio is all about coming as you are and doing what you can! If you have to sit out of a pose, it's no big deal. There's no pressure to keep up at all. And with the $5 donation per class, it fits into my budget. This place is truly incredible. It's been a blessing in my life. Do yourself a favor and go to one class!! You'll love it!!
