Jolene returned to her small-town roots after completing eight years' service in the U.S. Air Force as a Client Systems Technician from 2008 to 2016, during which she completed two associate degrees, her bachelor's in computer science, and several high-level certifications in her field.
She held several major roles with the Air Force, including two years as Manager of Information Technology Asset Management at Fairchild AFB in Eastern Washington and seven months as Supervisor of Joint Document and Media Exploitation for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and Information Management Office Technician while serving two tours in Afghanistan.
