At A1 Machining and Welding we specialize in Aluminum welding, Stainless Steel welding, and Steel Welding welding. We also provide welding on Cast aluminum, Cast Iron and Steel, Brass, Copper, and Titanium. These are the most common metals we weld however we also get some exotic or uncommon metals from time to time and we weld those too.
We provide TIG welding services on field for all ferrous metals, such as stainless steel and steel. All our mobile equipment for welding and plasma cutting on field are adaptable we can either go inside the locations and weld using regular 110v outlets or we can bring our 240v 9000 watt generator to use the full potential of our equipment.

I had a great experience with these guys! Had a technical issue on my vehicle (broken stud) and they were able to fit me in quick, as well as get the job done for a reasonable price.

Have been coming to Norbert for 4 years. Friendly and personable guy and a great welder. Had him construct a photo booth shell of aluminum with my drawings and 4 years later it’s held up and worked really well entertaining at all kinds of celebrations throughout SoCal. I have been back several times for repairs due to me dropping it and it’s always been great to deal with him. Highly recommend him.

I highly recommend A1 Machinery & Welding. Norbert reinforced our RV bumper so it would be strong enough to hold the weight of our electric bikes plus the heavy bike rack. It is super solid now. We don't have to worry about it ever bending again! We really love Cecilia and Norbert. They got our motorhome back to us the same day we called them. If we ever need anything welded again we are definitely calling A1.

Great job at welding! Really impressed! Brought my Dirtbike in for my rear fender frame came off due to a crash. Called A1 Welding and great costumer service! Texted the photos of the job needed to be done and got a quote within 15 minutes! Done within two days, even the weekend! I'll be back in the future for any welding purposes.

Finally found a welder that loves his craft! Made a dumb error on leaving my water paddle board with aluminum handle's underneath my dock. The tide came up and my handle bars bent down! Oof..... on my end. Called this shop and they were so helpful and professional. The owner explained everything in detail and had the job done in less than a day. Anodized aluminum is not something easy to work on. He nailed it perfectly! The price was super reasonable and I can't thank them enough!

Great people. I had an aircraft step that snapped. Because it's an aircraft it needed very specific welds, angles, and curvature that needed to be perfect. They had the skills and did just that and it is flawless.
I checked every welder and when they found out it was for an airplane they doubled their charge and said it would take days. When A1 found out it was for an aircraft, his quote remained the same and took an hour.
The step is a non critical flight part but helps a pilot get in and out. A1 strengthened the weld and now it can hold a heavier load than before. Wahoo

Definitely recommend this shop. Good turn around time and good pricing. I took my motorcycle in because the one of the threads in my frame were stripped. Dedicated motorcycle shops in the area would've taken a lot longer and cost me an arm and a leg. Norbert was able to drill and tap the hole in under an hour at an extremely reasonable price.

I was looking for a machine shop/welder to help me cut an aluminum 1/8" sheet custom bracket for me to mount my custom Moroso Power Steering Reservoir Tank in to my Miata. I drew the template on to the sheet and provided it to Norbert. He not only cut it nicely, he mounted and tig welded it following my instructions. Also shaved off the previous brackets and helped me clean it up. I am extremely happy with the result. Price was fair for the time, effort and dedication to my project. Thanks Norbert and Cecilia! I look forward to working together on more custom projects in the future

Awful service!!! I called on Monday morning to inquire as to whether the company could do a specific repair job. I was told to take pictures and email them to the company for a quote. When hours later I still had not received a response, I called back to be told that the boss has to approve this still, but that I should receive a phone call within the next 20 minutes or so. It is Thursday night and still nothing. Obviously they are not interesting or something?? But I would have preferred some actual courtesy of being told this, instead of just dismissed! Highly recommend this place. I had an aluminum wheel that was cracked and needed to be welded. I requested several quotes from several places ranging from $50 to $180 which wasn't really worth it since I had bought the wheel for $40! Took it over here since it was some what close to my house and he did it for $40! The weld has been holding up well and looks like I've found a bargain of a wheel and my go to welder!

I went to A1 welding for a little project I had. Cecilia and Norbert were so helpful and finished my project the same day I came in for an estimate. Talk about really great service!
