Sprains and Strains of the Knee, Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle, Wrist If your client has been injured in a car accident, motorcycle accident, slip and fall accident, or while at work, it is important that they are seen by an expert Los Angeles and SFV Orthopedic Surgeon as soon as possible for an examination, and to have necessary imaging tests performed.
Unfortunately meniscus tears aren't liable to heal on their own, and therefore require arthroscopic surgery. Often referred to as torn cartilage, the meniscus is situated between the femur and the tibia and actually acts as a cushion for the knee joint. When the meniscus is torn suddenly, as commonly happens in sports, patients often first report a "knee popping."
Arthroscopy refers to a type of surgery, wherein a tiny camera is inserted into the body to provide your orthopedic surgeon with the best opportunity to view sports or orthopedic injuries from multiple angles. However, there are additional benefits to arthroscopy as well, particularly when it comes to treating a torn or injured ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament).
As far as shoulder pain goes, the culprit is generally a rotator cuff injury. However, when you're experiencing shoulder pain with limited motion, popping noises, and/or grinding when you move your shoulder the cause is often an A-C joint injury. An A-C joint injury refers to the injury (likely bursitis and/or arthritis) of the acromioclavicular joint.
Injuries to the knee such as a meniscus tear won't heal on their own. Also known as "torn cartilage, " the meniscus is located between your femur (thigh bone) and tibia (shin bone). The role of the meniscus is to serve as a cushion between these two bones. However, this cartilage is prone to tearing, particularly in athletes in high collision or high impact sports.

Very difficult scheduling. They only work 2 days a week for 3 hrs and won’t schedule ahead two or more weeks. They act as people don’t have jobs and get an attitude with you. Also be prepared to wait because they don’t see you at the time you’re scheduled or 10 mins after or 20 mins after. They make you wait 50 mins... what is the point? We will not be returning!

I was told to go to the doctor for the initial examination of my left foot, ankle, and leg after someone else with malice and forethought assaulted me at work with an industrial power lift with 2,300 lbs of weight involved.
To summarize the situation, my left leg had never been even slightly injured before.
On the day Dr. Silver deemed myself "permanent and stationary" he also added, "your probably not going to get any better." So he's going to release me that day and he wanted to know if I had any questions.
I replied, "yes doctor just one. Why after six

BE CAREFUL OF THIS DR. & STAFF: 1. He prescribed codeine 3, later I called to complain that it pained me when urinating and was told to call Alicia but she never returned my calls or emails; 2. I told him of a hip nerve pain when walking and he told me to walk about four steps then denied my request to see a chiropractor; 3. his office was the only one to bill me $2K+ after losing my case number; 4. Jackie gave me the address of where to see Alicia and I was going to hang up the phone when I asked more questions and only then did I find out that I first have to make an appointment with Alicia

Came to see the "good" Dr. for my back ache...waited an hour and a half in the lobby with 6 other patients who were scheduled about 10 min apart from one another and was rudely told by one of the 10 secretaries that I could either wait my turn or reschedule. My appointment was for 9:15...I walked out at 10:50. I can't speak on his skills as an orthopedist but I know a zoo full of monkeys when I'm in one.
