Entry into the DTG competitive program is via current USAG competitive gymnast membership, or class move-up. We offer pre-competitive classes for those gymnasts who have accomplished the skills introduced in the recreational classes, and are ready to prepare for competing with one of our competitive gymnastics teams.
Gymnasts must meet certain qualifications, and be recommended by their recreational coach in order to take pre-team classes. Try-outs for pre-team occur periodically throughout the year, and are open to our recreational students. This is a a competitition-based program for gymnasts that have attained certain skill levels, as determined by USA Gymnastics.

Services
Students are given instruction on all gymnastics apparatus. Students are taught basic through intermediate gymnastic skills, flexibility, and strength. The goal is to challenge each student to excel at their own level of development, and encourage a fun and healthy lifestyle through gymnastics. A session includes one day of class per week, for 4 weeks.
Our Preschool Program is designed for children ages 1 to 5. These are important years in your child's development of self confidence, balance, coordination, body awareness, trust and social skills. Our program is designed to develop these skills in a fun atmosphere. We keep the focus on fun using music, games and small motor equipment while teaching basic gymnastics skills needed to progress into the school age program.
Come run, flip, jump and play at Desert Thunder Gymnastics Open Gym! At Open Gym, you can explore the gym and practice skills on your own, without the structure of a class enviornment. Our facility has all the apparatuses for both women and men's Olympic events. The gym includes a large, carpeted spring floor, in-ground trampoline, Tumbl Trak, jump-in foam pit, traditional gymnastics apparatuses, and a climbing rope.
We have a spacious, indoor facility, where your group can enjoy a fun gymnastics experience by our trained instructors! Your group will be led through a stretching and warmup period, followed by instruction on several gymnastics events, and free time to explore some selected activities. Each class will be set up and structured according to the ages of the children who will be participating.
Our spacious, indoor facility is the perfect place for your child's own private party. We have a large, carpeted spring floor, in-ground trampoline, Tumbl Trak, jump-in foam pit, traditional gymnastics apparatuses, and a climbing rope. Our parties provide opportunity for running, jumping, playing, and learning something new!

Seriously the best coaches and staff. Everyone is like family and they are amazing . My daughter is on the competition team and my youngest does tumbling classes and we are impressed with all the staff . The owner is hands on and always there to help.

My son has been taking classes here since he was 3 years old. The instructors are very good at what they do and extremely patient with younger children. There are many classes to choose from, from 18 months up, as well as open gym times. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it's definitely expensive and the location is so far out of town. Having said that, I still love this place. The students of all ages are very impressive and overall, I feel it's worth the price and drive time.

My daughter has been in gymnastics her whole life and when we moved here we were glad to see a gym was in town. She is in both tumbling and normal gymnastics. A nice thing about here is you can watch your kid practice and see most everything. Also it is crazy to see the kids climb the military rope.
