Services
Our national award winning Competing Teams are for dancers who are dedicated to highly professional training. Each team will attend up to 5 competitions, up to 2 conventions in the Spring, and 2 recitals (Winter and Spring). Our teams vary in ages and levels and require audition placement. Our Itty Bitty Beginners class is a magical introduction to dance! This class is teaching the basic elements of dance in an age-appropriate, positive, and loving environment. For children ages 2-3 years who want to learn to move to music, follow directions, and work on basic coordination and motor skills while having fun.
Jarica Befus is currently a 4th year student at The University of Utah studying Marketing & Advertising. Jarica grew up training at The Jazz'n Place Dance Studio under many qualified teachers such as Alan Salazar, Julia Miller Bryce, Angela Matson, Allison Debona and Jason Linsley. She is trained in contemporary, hip-hop, ballet and jazz.

Positive: Professionalism
We put our 3 year old daughter in Jazz’n Place this January. It is her first experience with dance classes and she absolutely loves it. She loves Miss Annie and asks me every day if it is “dance class day.” She can’t wait for recital and is excited to come back again this fall.

I have two girls that attend Jazz’n place dance studios and they both love it so much! They look forward to it every week! I’ve been very pleased with all the instructors and my daughters love them! The recitals are the highlight, so well done on even through Covid times. 5 STARS! But I’d give 10 if it let me!

Jazz’n Place has been an amazing dance studio for my 3 year old! Her teacher, Mrs. Liesel is so patient with my daughter and makes her feel included if she’s having a rough day. They focus on lots of techniques suitable for my little girl, while also letting them dance around and show their personalities! I love that they allow parents to watch the children during their dance class through a window, so we can personally see what they need to work on more. The owners are very good about sending out paperwork and emails regarding anything coming up that we need to be aware of. Overall, we have

My daughter’s first experience with dance this semester has been fantastic. She’s 3, so expectations are low as far as learning goes, but even still, she comes home excited to show me all her adorable moves she’s remembering. Her teacher, Miss Annie, is so patient and sweet with her. Saint level kindness. I’d recommend any young dancer just starting out and looking to try something new to come to Jazz’n Place!

I cannot say enough about Jazz n’ place dance studio! I have been completely impressed with how they handle communicating with what is happening, what you as a parent need to do, and everything else. My little girl has had two different teachers and they both have been amazing. They are on top of things, even as covid hit, I was still over the top impressed as they rolled with the punches and were still able to give the girls a recital. I’m definitely keeping my dancer here indefinitely!

We loveeee Jazz n’ place! As a former dancer myself, I had high expectations for where I wanted my daughter to dance. After “shopping around”, I knew I couldn’t get better quality especially for this price! Annie is hands down my favorite teacher for the littles, she is patient and my daughter will come home saying positive affirmations about herself. Such a positive experience for her and I! Also, their receptionist is phenomenal and the communication to the parents is so good!

My daughter absolutely loves going! She is 2 years old and can be pretty shy, but is not reserved in the studio at all. A lot of that is thanks to her teacher, Leisl. If I mention dance class, my daughter lights up! The studio is always clean. One thing I do wish is that there was better seating arrangements in the waiting area while watching the kids dance. But even that isn’t really something to complain about. We have loved our experience so far!

We love Jazz ‘n Place! My daughter has progressed so much over the past year, and has loved her class and her teacher. I like that this isn’t a studio that cares what your child wears each week, as long as it’s within dance wear they can wear it! We once had a studio tell us my daughter’s hair wasn’t correctly curled (ringlets weren’t tight enough) for a recital. You don’t get that at Jazz ‘n Place. They are welcoming and fun!

I have been teaching at Jazz'n Place for 4 years now and have loved every minute! The faculty are all very professional and accomplished and the studio director is fantastic. I have nothing but great things to say about the studio. I highly recommend any parent looking to put their children in dance to come to Jazz'n Place Dance Studio.

Jazz n Place is the BEST!! I have worked there for many years, and can honestly say that the staff genuinely loves each student and does everything possible to help them succeed!
The environment is also a clean and safe place for your children to learn new things and make new friends!
