Their website and facebook page list Saturday hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wasted a trip downtown with a friend to find them closed at 5:30 p.m. No warning on their facebook page or explanation on the door.

Due to covid, the restaurant was shortstaffed but they made sure they let you know ahead of time. They gave an estimate time of how long it would take to get your food. The wait was worth it, the food was delicious. We were all pretty hungry that no one remembered to take pictures hahahaha. The staff was super friendly too. Will definitely be back when in the area.

I've had arepas before on the east coast and they were a little different than the ones here, but these were hella good! We had the Sampler #2 on our first visit, then returned to have full size arepas the next day. If a place brings you back twice in the same visit to Santa Fe that says a lot! We loved the gluten free options. The yuca fries are also so darn good!!! Recommend! Only downer is service is kinda slow and all the tables were dirty on our first visit, and not even during a peak time, but that seems to be the case everywhere lately. The only reason I can't give a full

I don't think I have had this great of food in a LONG time. Certainly was great introduction to this genre of food. We ordered the sampler as to not miss out on anything, and it was absolutely the best decision. It fed 3 people and we got to try everything we had wanted. The staff and owner were super sweet and accommodating to all of our questions and made the experience the best it could be!

This was our first time eating Venezuelan food. The staff was very helpful with menu options due to my dietary restrictions. Really good beef arepas and delicious sweet plantains! The service was slow but was expected that after reading prior reviews. Parking was very limited. Dog friendly on the patio! We'll be back again!

After enjoying a lot of BBQ and Mexican/New Mexican food, we were looking for something a little different. I was thrilled to find a Venezuelan restaurant since we're both huge fans of one back home.

The place is small and they were extremely busy, but we didn't mind waiting a little for a table (after all, we understand the struggles the restaurant businesses are having with COVID and staffing). Tables turned over fairly quickly so it was a short wait. They were very good about following COVID protocols. The staff was wonderful, especially the owner who came over to speak with us

Gotta be some of the best food in Sante Fe, some of the best arepas in north America. I'm blown away. Phenomenal. Fresh.

Such delicious food! We ordered the PabellĂłn plate and Tostada Carorena plate to split between two adults and two little kids. Perfect amount of food. The owner was gracious and friendly. We enjoyed sitting outside with our dog, and the whole experience was great. Would recommend!

We were very excited to find a Venezuelan restaurant in walking distance and wanted to try it right away. The hostess at the counter is very patient with order taking and helpful as well. We ordered a bunch since we wanted to try everything! My kids ordered chicken empanada and cheese arepitas. We ordered Tamarind juice, plantains and yucca. Also ordered couple of Sifrina Arepas. The juice is served right away and is a refreshing juice for a hot hot day, however the wait for food took way too long - like more than 30 minutes. And everything comes out together.
The yucca and plantains were good

Authentic, quality, and incredibly tasting food! Even if you’re not familiar with Venezuelan food, there is something for everyone here. The flavor of everything we had was fantastic. Try the passionfruit juice, best I’ve ever had. Also try the Belizean Marie Sharps hot sauce, there’s a spice level and flavor to perfectly compliment your food for everyone and you won’t be disappointed. Great people, stellar food, a jewel in Santa Fe!

We got to Santa Fe starving and this was our first stop based on the reviews.

We sat outside with our dog but the inside was very sanitary and COVID protocols were being observed.

Sampler 1 called to me and didn't disappoint. The plantains were amazing - some of the best I've had. The arepitas and cachapitas were delicious too. I could have eaten 3 more sampler plates. Everything was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Yummy crust on the empanadas. I loved the sauces that came out with it too!

Awesome staff. Cute place for Venezuelan food. Offers cookies and desserts. The wait is about 30 minutes for an arepa, which is common but for the experience it's worth a try. The filling was a bit too much more black beans that other ingredients. Plantains were very good and cooked well. One time is enough for me but again the service is very good. If I'm in New Mexico again I would like to try the desserts.

This has been the most beautiful experience I've ever had in my MOUTH!!!! They take their time making the food but IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! I almost cried of how amazing my jenni's tostada was. My fiancé and our friends felt the same way about their plates.
If you're in Santa Fe, visit this spot!

As a local, I was very excited to try this place out after seeing a five star review. I was very disappointed.
Be prepared to wait. When I ordered, it appeared there was only 4 people waiting on their order so I thought it should take maybe 15-20 minutes given then they needed to just grill meat med-medium rare and fry some plantains and throw a tossed salad together...40 minutes later I was finally served.
Since the food took so long, I ended getting it to go. At the time, I didn't get to see the food but upon getting home I find my med-rare beef is burnt and more than well done. See

We were very happy to find this place during our trip to Santa Fe. There were so many yummy items on the menu that we decided to order the Sampler 1 to get a taste of many of them. We mixed vegetarian and non vegetarian arepas and empanadas, everything was delicious!! The service and hospitality were fantastic; and the final espresso with steam milk was the best in town! We wish we had a place like this back home in Texas!

Venezuelan cuisine
We had never had this kind of food. They have two different sampler plates but I told the nice lady cashier/manager that I wanted the best thing that they made. She suggested something, and I asked if it could be shared. She said yes and that's what we had.

Because of my lack of experience with this cuisine I cannot remember the specifics of the dish. I do remember that it was very good. I did get the feeling that it could have been great. I felt perhaps the B team was cooking for dinner since the patrons were rather sparse. I think the busy time is at lunch.

Very kind staff. Cute and comfortable setting. Amazing perfectly cooked food. My family is Colombian and approve of this amazing Venezuelan cuisine. Anything on the menu should be delicious. We especially liked the arepa with the chicken avocado and cheese and the empanadas. The yuca fries are great. Try them with the sauces on the table.

Hubby and I made a special trip to Santarepa Cafe during our Santa Fe trip because of the rave reviews, and it did not disappoint. The empanadas were so good! I had Pabellon (#30) with shredded beef, black beans, sweet plantain, and cheese. Hubby had the chicken. Generous portions. We are fans!

The food here is amazing. I've never had Venezuelan food before and I am now a huge fan.

The arepa has a thin, crispy shell stuffed with a whole lot of goodness. The cornmeal pancake was like a sweet tamale or corn fritter.

The staff are friendly. Be prepared to wait a bit on the food as they are busy but that's a sign of quality food. Totally worth the wait.

You must try them out!

Swung by here for a late lunch. It was alright. My husband and one of my sisters got the pabellon and they really enjoyed it. I got la sifrina and I'd probably give it a 3 - wasn't really seasoned very well. They had a few different sauces they served the food with: a garlic sauce, chimichurri and a red one that definitely had a kick. We also ordered a slice of the flan, which was okay. Firmer texture and a strange after taste in the caramel sauce.

I love arepas so I would probably come again and try something else. But the owner came over to check on us, which was very sweet.

We tried this little café in Santa Fe NMX just to eat something different. This was our first time trying Venezuelan food so we had the Super Sampler platter for my daughter and myself. The service was a little slow due to all the orders they had. I enjoyed a glass of red wine while I waited and I tell you it was worth the wait. Scrumptious. A must try oh and its super clean.
