The park sits on beautiful Lake Chesdin offering natural and serene views. Boating, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, and kayaking are popular on the lake. A boat ramp is located on-site. The children enjoy the playground, volleyball court, & basketball court. The sandy beach gives access to the swimming area for a fun day of swimming or just relaxing in the sun.

Our pavilion located by the beach area is ideal for party functions, get togethers, and family picnics. Discover the fun and enjoyment of water activities including boating, swimming, and water skiing on Lake Chesdin. Lake Chesdin offers great fishing. Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, and White Perch are all abundant in the lake.
Services
Lake Chesdin Campground is comprised of 26 acres of lake frontage intentionally maintained as a rustic paradise to escape from the city lights. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe and relaxing experience for everyone who visits the park. We aim to provide a friendly, family environment. We would like to extend an invitation to come and enjoy Lake Chesdin for family fun, water sports, and relaxation.

This place is the most trashiest place I have ever seen, I don’t even know how this place stays open, there’s nothing but drunks running around fighting holler and all night all morning long people vandalize your property when you leave it there hi highly recommend staying away from this campground. Beware

This is a beautiful place for camping, it has a beautiful lake. For people that want to relax and unwind, with fully equipped and hook up with electricity, water as well as off the grid. Also it's pretty good for fishing, boating kayaking. I personally give a 8 out of 10.
It has picnic are, swimming are in the lake, public bathrooms with showers.

1st let me say Elizabeth at the campground is 5 star+!! We were looking for a permanent spot to park our camper since my knee surgery. The campground is turning over a new stone slowly but surely. With that comes restrictive rules. While our 2000 Timberland is in excellent shape and looks like new, it doesn't fit the owners limit of 15 yo or newer. All the while there are campers 30+ years old, built around, added onto, etc. I honestly think the owner Should have a 15 yo max for definitive purposes to make the campground look better going forward but they should individually judge older campers

Since we were camping primitive, Leslie and the owner suggested the campsite on the outer edge of the campground. It was quiet (other than an occasional motorist on the country road). We had a nice place under the maple tree. The campsite was clean, free of ticks too! (Anyone camping primitive can appreciate that). The bathhouse was a short hike away for the more "modern" moments of shower and toilet. We found both the owner and Leslie to be helpful and delightful. We enjoyed our stay albeit only two nights. We canoed about the lake, enjoyed some down time on the beach (canoed there) and had a

This is our second summer here at Chesdin Campground and we love it here!
It's now under new management since the last time we were here and it's so much better this summer already! The bathrooms/shower houses are being renovated, grounds are looking much more manicured and its a great place for families or couples in general! We will likely become semi/permanent residents here and we are looking forward to another great summer! 🌞🌞

I am biased because I grew up going to this campground. Since, it has changed hands numerous times. Dispite the rocky management system it will always be my favorite campground.

We were looking for a place for a test camping run prior to a longer trip. This was our stop. A little bit pricey for what they offer, though we got a good deal for a lake front lot. The power post was broken when we arrived, but they fixed it immediately. If you can get lake front lots, you should be fine, but the rest of the property is in a state of disrepair.

Purchased a cabin here last year and I am absolutely in love. The lake is simple, quiet, and everyone is so friendly. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Can't wait to come back year after year and enjoy the amazing views.
