Services
California State Employees No. 20 Credit Union was formed in January of 1951. The credit union was formed by a group of professors and employees of Humboldt State College. They formed the credit union with a desire to assist each other with reasonably priced loans and a good return on their savings.
With traditional bank accounts like checking and savings as well as advanced online and remote services like mobile deposit, Compass CCU is well-positioned to be your primary financial institution. And because we are a credit union, we can afford to be uncommonly personal, versatile, and affordable.
With a new Directional Checking Account from Compass Community Credit Union, the higher your balance, the higher your interest rate. The only requirements are that you have Direct Deposit, free online banking with e-Statements, and make a minimum of 10 Debit Card transactions a month. Free ATM/Visa debit card with access to over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMS through the CO-OP Network.
Unforeseen expenses sometimes occur, and you might not have enough money in your account to cover those costs. Good news, Compass has you covered. Courtesy Pay covers overdrafts from checks and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. And, only if you opt in, Courtesy Pay will also cover overdrafts from Automated Teller Machine (ATM) withdrawals and everyday debit card transactions.
To open a Share Certificate of Deposit, print and complete the Account Agreement and stop into a branch or mail it. When mailing, include a check for deposit, along with a copy of a current government-issued picture ID for each signer. Mail to PO BOX 1268, Eureka, CA 95502. When mailing, include a $5 minimum deposit (for your Savings Account), along with a copy of a current government-issued picture ID for each signer.

I have been a member of this bank, formerly known as CSFECU#20, since @ 1980s. Recently, a massive conversion caused consternation and the team, especially a VP, were fantastic in leading the way to great success in managing and manipulating the new systems and organizations resulting in absolute ease of online services. I also love to bank in Arcata, although I dearly miss the peeps in the Eureka admin office on Wabash. Everyone, without fail, is courteous and charming and laughter is a staple of any visit. This organization, by any name, has been loyal and true to their members, and in my case

Iām trying the small bank thing but the services are so limited...the staff at the new Eureka office have been disappointing as well.
Iām giving them six more months and if I have one more problem, we are done...
OK, I did as you suggested and Rene let me down terribly. She was very professional and polite but I still didn't get my debit card replacement for almost three weeks. They couldn't find the first card, no tracking number whatsoever (the bank sent it to my Colorado address after I made it very clear where to send the card).
I had to call Rene to get any updates and to try to get
