Dr. Margaret Kontras Sutton is a board-certified dermatologist, specially trained in diseases of the skin, hair and nails.
Acne is a skin condition which consists of clogged pores (blackheads and whiteheads), inflamed pimples (pustules), and deeper lumps (nodules). It occurs on the face, as well as the neck, chest, back, shoulders, and upper arms. Although most teenagers get some form of acne, adults in their 20's, 30's, 40's, or even older can develop acne.

I was very excited to visit Sutton dermatology. I wanted some new hope. Some answers and hopefully some results In trying to fix my psoriasis. I showed up for my appointment and handed my insurance card to the front desk. The front desk person insisted that I was on Medicare. I just started a new health insurance plan beginning of the year (ambetter). Just a basic affordable healthcare plan. So once they figured out that it was a basic health plan they then took my information and took my $30 co-pay and instructed me to sit down and the person would let them know I was there. Erin is awesome! Got right in this morning with a burn issue. Called the office before 7:00 a.m. talked with Dr.Sutton, who was on call. Got right in with Erin. She took pictures of the burn and sent them to Dr. Sutton so they could collaborate with the treatment.
Erin has been keeping an eye on me for several years with four siblings with melanoma and one passed in 2017. I know I can trust Sutton Dermatology.

I was referred to this practice from my past Dermatologist. This was my first visit at N 26th. I was not impressed with the PA they assigned. It was my job to point out all the spots I had concerns about. My last Dermatologist practice was very thorough. They still asked what brought me in but they also did through check and found more area they could treat. Later that day, I found more areas that could have been treated. But since I didn’t point them out they didn’t get treated. The PA has a hard demeanor. If I go back, I ask for someone different

As a first time patient, everything went smoothly from paperwork through the creation of a treatment plan. I came here for a second opinion and I felt so much better knowing I had options, my questions and concerns were all answered. I feel much more confident knowing the reasoning behind the treatment plan as well as working together to choose the best options for what I individually needed.
