Bobula's Septic Service started in Wisconsin in 1933. Jim(see photo) remained in the family business but moved West, continuing the operation in Nevada. Why do I need a pumping service? Pollutants from a poorly functioning system can be drawn into your well and come out in your drinking, cooking and bathing water. If your septic tank isn't cleaned regularly, sludge and scum will clog the drainfield and cause the whole septic system to fail. Why should I maintain my septic system?
Peopla rarely think of the effects these everyday products have on their septic tank system. What kind of effect do you think "anti-septics" have on your septic tank system? Bacteria must be present to digest the scum. If not digested, the scum will accummulate until it overflows and clogs the soil absorption area.
Septic system maintenance addresses two simple things. First, sludge that accummulates at the bottom of the septic tank must be pumped out periodically. The frequency of pumping depends on the size of the septic tank, the use it gets, and the condition of the septic system. There is no additive that you can put in the tank that will deal with the sludge -- it must be pumped out.

We thought we had a septic tank issue, turns out it was a plumbing issue. But the guys that came were awesome. The tank did need clearing, so they did do that. They felt bad they couldn't fix the problem, so one guy came back a couple hours later to see if he could get it from the outside to save us a plumbing bill on top of a septic bill. He was able to fix it. We're grateful to them. They're reasonably priced. They're prompt and keep their word. Excellent service and work. Couldn't recommend them more.
