Services
Dr Mary White graduated from Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1986. She completed post graduate training at Harvard Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital (Belvidere) and is Board Certified by the Board of Medical Specialties Podiatric Surgery. Dr White has been a staff member of Rockford Clinic Ltd and Woodside Medical while maintaining private practice since 1988.
Did you know the foot has 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles, and numerous tendons? These parts all work together to allow the foot to move in a variety of ways while balancing your weight and propelling you forward or backward on even or uneven surfaces. It is no wonder that 75 percent of all Americans will experience foot problems at one point or another in their lifetimes.

Dr. White is amazing. She treated my bunion issues non surgically. She delicately shaved down the calluses between my toes and then wrapped one toe with a little lambs wool and placed a silicone sleeve on the other toe. Before I saw her I was in a lot of pain. After my appointment I was pain free. Before that appointment I had suffered for years and sometimes I could barely walk. Just standing up to cook and do the dishes afterwards was literally excruciating. I wish I had seen her 20 years ago since I wasn't a good can for surgery. I will continue to see Dr White when necessary.

The orthotics I had made through Dr. White’s office have made a HUGE difference in my ability yo walk, hike, and train. Thank you!
I’ve also had pedicures here and don’t have the craziness of the mall pedicures - much safer too as I had been cut there twice and burned with hot wax. None of that at Dr. White’s office!

I love this place.. very friendly workers will work with you so you can get your feet taken care of. Been coming here for over 10 years when I need it.. my grandmother also came here and when I worked in health care my patients came here! They also have have pedicures with extra attention to those foot issues if you need it.. they also have light/laser therapy and ill swear by that!

Beware of This Doctor.
I went to her following an immediate care visit for what was thought to be plantar fasciitis. First visit Dr. White was great about education on the condition and getting into better shoes. She gave a bunch of paperwork on stretches, shoes, and a coupon for the place nearby, and temp. inserts to wear daily. (She NEVER did her own testing to confirm the original diagnosis---> Doctoring 101!) Second visit, I was wearing the new sneakers bought at the nearby store, with the inserts, and had told her my feet still hurt despite the stretching, new shoes, inserts, etc. She offered

Dr. White and her entire staff have been very kind and compassionate to me at each and every appointment I have. The wait time is extremely short and the time she spends with each patient makes me feel really good about the care I am receiving! She is extremely knowledgeable and has been successful in decreasing my foot pain so I can walk and run without issues! I highly recommend Dr. Mary White!

It's a warm, friendly office. The staff are all really nice and efficient! The doctor took time to listen to my issues, which is a rarity these days. I have been able to make appointments (going around my work schedule) with ease. With other doctors, it's like pulling teeth and they usually have to search for ten minutes before I can get a date. The whole experience with Dr. White's office has been stress-free, which is fantastic.
