Shonnards is my go to place for everything plant related. They have a wonderful selection of everything from native plants to popular decorative plants to houseplants and anything you could need to keep said plants happy. Combine that with a friendly, knowledgeable staff and they have my business and recommendation.

I have purchased atleast 10 different plants both indoor and outdoor from Shonnards since June - and more often than not within 2-4 months after purchasing they die. In the summer I purchased a basil plant from them - died within a month. I purchased another basil plant from bi-mart, planted it in the same spot and it thrived all summer. I have 3 house plants I've purchased here that have died and 2 more barely hanging on. Ironically, all the house plants I purchased elsewhere around the same time are thriving. I can't help but draw the conclusion that maybe their plants are diseased or just not

It is stunning, just driving by this store, so we finally pulled in to give it a looky -loo. Wow! High quality plants. Good displays and just about any tool or soil amendment you could ever need. Friendly and knowledgeable staff is available. It’s much bigger than you think when to speed by. I really was intrigued with the unique collection of native plants- be sure to search for them (back outdoor right side). So find this happy place to make your happy place at home.
