Michael Tate & Co. is locally owned and a second generation roofing company that was started in the mid 1970's. At that time we had commercial contracts with Texaco, Phillip's 66 and 7-Eleven, along with a number of mom & pop operations. We also handled the residential side of the business. In the early 1980's the company phased out the commercial side of the business and started specializing in residential roof replacements and repairs.
Today, we no longer replace or install roofs. We are a residential roof repair company with years of experience! About 90% of all work comes from repeat and referral customers. When an insurance company agrees to pay a claim, in most cases the policyholder is only required to pay their insurance deductible.

Over the years I have several roofs done by Tate Roofing. Michael has always gone above and beyond, and his quality is second to none. Michael, just a thank you for noticing the defective shingles on my roof while you were here for our vent leak! We never would have known had we not had you out to check the vent! We took your advice to contact the shingle maker and they sent us a voucher to replace our whole roof! Looks like it will cover most of our out of pocket costs. We never would have thought a 9yo roof would need replacing. We appreciate you very much! Michael Tate was able to get me in same-day and I actually got very lucky when he squeezed in a consult within an hour. We had a small roof leak on one side of our house, which Michael quickly handled. We thought we had a leak in another part of the house, but he showed us what the real issue was and helped us with a quick fix. Micheal Tate is upbeat, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and he gave us peace of mind when we were worried about our house! Thank you!

Michael did roofing work for us many years ago. Hard to believe one person could take care of our issues. Had attic exhaust fans placed by a company, but had them return several times for leaking issues. Finally decided to get a real roofing person to fix the leaks. We thought we were calling Michael, but some roofing company came and gave us an outrageous bid for work to be done. Called Michael Tate ( right # this time)and he came out right away. He even remembered us from the last job he did for us. His bid saved us over $1000.00 from the other roofing company!!!!! Great customer service. Kind
