Wally told me one price on the phone of $10.00 for the cable and 10.00 for the part. When I got there he tried to sell me a $70.00 service.I said no to that and good old Wally told me the part was $20.00 and $30.00 to put it on.
If you don't mind getting the shaft from old Wally, then go see him.
I went around the corner to Super Cool bikes. The part was $5.00 and they showed me how to put it on. Took me 15 minutes.
They deserve less than a ZERO at Chain Reaction.

I had a great experience here. I'm new to cycling and was pretty apprehensive to walk in as an obvious noob. The staff did a great job not making me feel dumb for asking a thousand, uh....well, dumb questions. They were patient, made suggestions and never pressured me to buy anything. Based on what I told them they recommended a used hybrid that they had and gave me a good deal on the bike and a lot of the accessories to get started. After 6 months, and with at least a little more knowledge of what I'm doing, I feel like they did right by me and I look forward to going back when I'm ready to upgrade

Novice here to professional bike shops. Bought used bike Facebook market place for seniors bike club ride for $75. It did what i thought it should. I heard of people getting tuneups for $70. To me kind of crazy but i had it a couple years. Why not? They tell me. Original chain an rear gears are worn out and this is a nice bike just older.. I thought they were bs ing me. Get the bike he says it will be like a new bike...right?...It was like a totally different new bike..i could not believe it!! So nice! Thanks Guys! My bike riding days will be more often and pleasurable thanks to you

Super friendly customer service and transparent about pricing. I got my bike back within 24 hours, and the repairs were very affordable. I've been coming back to this shop and each time I'm happy with the quality of work. There's also a wide selection of parts and bikes, so when I'm ready to upgrade I'll be getting it from them.

Quality products, not very friendly costumer service. I got an overhaul and new tires- the tires were NOT what I was expecting and they did not match the style of my bike. I asked for road tires and got fat “city” tires... I guess I should’ve asked to see them before they serviced it.
Also when I picked it up, I was interested in other products and they weren’t willing to talk about them- I asked a question and the conversation was shut down immediately. As soon as I paid, the mechanic walked away and didn’t even offer to help untangle my bike from their crowded rack.

Scott did an excellent job explaining the different brands for the mountain bike I wanted. He taught me a lot about the various bike features to help me decide the Giant Stance was a fit for me. All the employees were friendly and answered questions. I thought the price was fair. They paid a very fair price for my trade. After this buying experience, they are my go to bike shop now.

Bought my latest mountain bike here, a Scott Spark RC, and dealt with Raliegh. He gave me an amazing price for an fast bike. Took a few rides to dial in the settings but that's typical of any bikes I guess. Highly recommend this shop, especially if you're fortunate enough to have the owner help you.
