If you have been arrested for driving under the influence in Shasta County, the Department of Motor Vehicles may suspend your driver's license if you do not take immediate action. You have 10 days from the date of your arrest to request a hearing with the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you request a hearing on time, DMV may stay the suspension of your driver's license.
