Choosing where to enjoy your golden years is one of the most important decisions you and your family will make. Kiva is not your typical senior living facility. Our home-like setting paired with plentiful social activities and friendly, warm staff make Kiva the preferred choice for active assisted living.

Kiva's goal is to ensure each senior maintains a high quality of life. We encourage everyone to engage in social activities and develop friendships with other residents. I was afraid moving to an assisted living facility would limit what I could do, but at Kiva anything is doable!

Cindy and team appear to provide a safe, clean, and caring place for many elderly patients. It is not an easy job so our thoughts are not only with our Aunt but all the workers who make her as comfortable as possible. Thank you.

Kiva at Canterbury is a quaint well-run Assisted Living Memory Care Community. The Administrator, Cindy Digman has held her position at Kiva for over 20+ years. Cindy as well as all of the Kiva staff are compassionate individuals who care for the residents as if they were caring for there own families. When an individual requires Memory Care it can be expected that this individual might exhibit some behavioral issues associated with the disease. Kiva at Canterbury will work with these individuals tirelessly to resolve issues. It is a home-like atmosphere where the residents feel comfortable and

My Mom has been a resident here for 3 years and there staff has been nothing but loving and caring toward my mother. Cindy the administrator has been wonderful she saved my Mother’s life. Without this facility my family wouldn’t know what to do.

Horrible place. They treat residents like garbage. The staff will lie to the residents if they think it makes their job easier. They hold the residents there as if they're prisoners and monitor them as if they're under lock down. I've seen it myself. One of the staff members threatened to call the police on a family because they wanted to tell their elderly family member resident the truth about them not being able to come home.
A wise person learns from others' mistakes, a fool learns from their own. Please learn from my experience and take your loved one somewhere else....

This place seems absolutely terrible. I called interested in volunteering and a woman answered the phone and said “We don’t do that.” then hung up on me. If that’s how they treat people I can’t imagine them treating the residents any better. I would steer clear of this facility and go somewhere there is transparency. I worked for years in Geriatric healthcare and this place gives me a really bad feeling.

It became apparent in early July that my 92-year old mom (with progressive dementia) needed memory care/Assisted Living support for her own safety. She'd been living in independent living for 7 years, largely because I'm a retired RN and for the past 4 years she's been a participant in PACE (a program designed to keep the elderly in their own homes). We researched several facilities and chose Kiva at Canterbury. I'm so thankful we did! Cindy, the administrator, truly cares for the residents' wellbeing physically and emotionally! Every resident has some degree of memory
