Merchants Moving and Storage puts our team members through a rigorous training and certification process, and we work with them to become "Merchant Certified". This is a very big deal with our organization. We want all of our team members to have excellent ethics, be skillful and professional, and are thoroughly trained.
Since 2012 Merchants Moving & Storage has partnered with Move for Hunger. Move for Hunger is a non-profit organization that works with relocation companies to collect non-perish food items and delivers it to food banks across North America. When our customers are moving and they have unopened non-perishable food items they want to discard our crews will pack it up and deliver it to the Idaho Food Bank.

What a top notch experience we had when our interior designer had a team from Merchants come to our home to reposition a heavy area rug and move around furniture too heavy for my husband to do on his own and with me as worthless in that work given I have multiple sclerosis and the ship has sailed for me being able to lift and carry furniture. The two Merchants employees, Dan and Christian, were on time, early even, for the appointment, friendly and professional and clearly "spoke designer" for how they moved things about with her recommendations and directions. I have moved several times in recent years. I used Yelp to find Merchants Moving. I had sold my house and needed to be moved out of State in under 3 weeks. I called Merchants an they set an appointment for me right away with John. That was the beginning of an amazing move. John explained everything and took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions. He provided and explained the quote in detail and what would effect the final price. We moved from Orange County, CA to Denver, Colorado and had Merchants Moving company pack and move us. Luke with Atlas moving was our lead mover and driver. He was so professional and took great care of us and our belongings. I couldn't be more pleased and our move went very smooth and not one thing was broken! I highly would recommend them and if you get Luke as your driver, you will be in good hands! I was pleasantly surprised how they took care of everything and Luke made sure we were happy from start to finish! The entire crew were very respectful and hard workers.

From my first contact to the delivery of the furniture everything went very smoothly. I had several heirloom pieces to move from Idaho to Washington and the pick up was the same day the job was bid! The delivery team was just as polite as the pickup team. You was very impressed that all employees had been with the company 10-15 years, a true rarity! I will be using this company for a crosstown move soon!

Wow. WOW! Completed Part Two of the move -- involving an entire home's worth of stuff. Merchants' team was amazing. There was even an "advance team" (thank you Justin and Brian) who showed up (at exactly the time they said) to strategize over the scary steep driveway so there would be no hiccups in getting trucks in.
