I have stood here twice in the last month. Both times were a 3-5 night stay . The price is definitely affordable and the rooms are spacious. The gentleman at the front desk is very helpful each time I checked in. He even offered some suggestions on restaurants nearby. I have stayed at different hotels in this area and I have to say this is my favorite place for the price that it is. It is about a half a mile from all of the shops downtown. I would definitely stay here again

The booking agent on the phone got the date wrong. When I showed up the office manager said I was out of luck .I filed a complaint with my bank and the motel fought it.The man at the motel was rude and had a very bad attitude. The motel said my reservation was for the day before, and they wanted to charge me for another day! To make things worse The final charge through the bank was more than the agreed-upon charge the day I made the reservation.I am very unsatisfied and would never make another reservation at the Alamo Motel again.!!!!

Booked a non smoking room for one night. Went to check in and the boy at the counter said “Just the 1 room correct?” I said correct and signed the paper and he handed me the room key. I walk into the room and it reeks of cigarette smoke. The boy at the front desk said nothing about this being a smoking room when I booked a non smoking room. I go back to the front desk and tell him that I will not be staying because I booked a non smoking room and this was a smoking room. I ask for a refund and he says that they are unable to refund me because I booked through Hotwire. I contact Hotwire and

Run down, looks like no maintenance has been done in many, many years. Parking is a BIG problem. It took 3 flushes just to get the t paper down. Cannot reach the t paper from stool w/o falling off, can't get in or out of bathroom without moving away from the door on the other side of the stool or falling in the tub. Vertical blinds missing or broken, mirror broken, broken board? with patched carpet.
We DID, however, have clean sheets and the towels were new or they wouldn't even have received a 1 star.

The only reason this motel is getting one star is because it was clean. VERY old; lots of cosmetic fixes that need done (broken mirror; paint touch-ups; carpet pieces). Very, very few electrical outlets; extra ones were on a power strip that also accommodated the fridge, microwave & coffee pot. Dip in floor; if you werent paying attention, down you'd go. Main light started to flicker when on for more than 2 seconds. Not enough water pressure to flush the toilet. Fire extinguishers are located outside. Parking lot is a tiny horseshoe; can accommodate smaller vehicles but forget bigger

Semi-comfy, RIP OFF SCAM!!!
Booked on-line for $44 - no problems accepting my res or fee.
There was ADDITIONAL $50 charge on my bank app after check out.
I called to inquire, clerk said towels were missing and I was charged for them. A) I did not take any towels - only 2 sets provided and 2 sets were there when I closed the door; B) $50 for an institutional towel set - really? C) No call/contact re the additional charges (wonder how many people just checkout and move on).
Clerk refused to discuss and there was no manager for appeal. Had to have my bank dispute and reverse charge.
Cheap is not cheap

Booked the Alamo Motel through Hotels.Com and there were no issues. Em, the front desk man, was very pleasant, exceedingly patient, and wanted to deliver a good experience for his guests.
We love the motels where you drive right up to your door and the Alamo Motel is just that kind of place! We found our room to be clean, spacious, equipped with an updated bathroom, desk, good air conditioning, fridge and microwave, and plenty of electrical outlets for our gizmos and chargers.
The courtyard is small so parking, especially with a motorcycle and trailer, can be tricky.
The Alamo is within easy

We booked through Expedia months prior. We went to check in after a long drive (this was part of our road trip from Portland OR) and were informed they didn't have our reservation. The front desk was rather rude about it. I asked what we were supposed to do. He informed me that i would have to get my money back from Expedia as we had already paid for the room. I was more worried about where my family of 6 would stay the night. No apologies were given. We contacted Expedia and they had confirmation and everything but the motel had already rented out our room. After a lenghthy process we were

If you're looking for a place to stay in Sheridan, do not be tricked by the run-down, one story look of alamo Motel; it's a little better than that.
If you're looking at alamo, chances are you're looking for somewhere cheap. On that end, alamo delivers affordable prices for rooms that are surprisingly spacious. Our room had a nice area that fit two queen beds along with a lot of room to walk around and stack up the luggage.
Unfortunately, it's not all good. For one, entering the room felt like walking into a dry sauna. And the air conditioning took a while to kick in
